Replace Not Discard!
With the prices soaring for almost everything today, the gas tank on my weed eater cracked. I ordered this as a replacement.AND it worked perfectly. It was easy to install - removing the old one was harder than putting in the new one. No leaks, and helps the machine run efficiently for about 8 hours of running time. I am impressed that I could replace a part instead of having to abandon the machine to get another one. The gas tank is plastic and aligns perfectly like the old one did. I am able to weed eat for hours giving my yard the completeness I desired.

Perfect fit and easy to install
The gas lines to my weed whacker dry rotted. Went to order new lines and came across this - a few bucks more than the lines ?! Let’s do it! Fit perfect and easy to install. Works great. I have a ryobi trimmer

Easy replacement fuel tank for Ryobi RY253SS trimmer
This was a replacement for the fuel tank on a Ryobi RY253SS 2 Cycle full crank straight shaft string trimmer. Installation was straight forward and it worked like a charm.One observation about the stock Ryobi tank originally on the unit is that the fuel lines could not be changed independently as it's all one piece integrated. To replace the lines and filter, the trimmer fuel tank assembly must be swapped out. Very odd. With this replacement tank, one can easily remove the rubber stop and replace the individual lines and filter as needed.

Does not fit ryobi
This is pure junk do you not buy it the fuel lines are an off gauge that don't fit on any manufacturer piece of equipment that I can find so unless you have extra fuel line to stuff in the hose to narrow it it won't work on anything also the lid leak so there's no way to pressurize the tank 100% garbage
