As described on line
Suggest use of the tall planter for trees with long roots. Only surprise was the thin plastic material. Then again, for the price of 50 of these planters it was a fair bargain. Would purchase again should the need arise

A bargain for a deep tree pot/sleeve.
The media could not be loaded. Since you're looking for a tree pot let me tell you now that this is enough for your needs. I have a few shorter "sleeves" from my berry plants I bought this year. Those were solid as in it will break if you apply pressure . I was saving them and trying not to give them away with the plants. These are cheap enough that I'm ok giving it away. They may be flimsy but stand up on their own just fine. I wouldn't call these plastic bags which I also use. They do become round rather than staying square shape but that's also fine. These are the deepest sleeves I've found so far.I plan on experimenting on cutting out a single larger hole like the other sleeves that I have bottom lined with coir so that when removing the plant you merely push it out.It does have a smell to it as it's a newly made plastic just keep it outside. I found its best to remove from the bottom of the stack. If you place the open end of the pot on the table and create an M with your hands you can push in to remove the pot.I haven't reached the pots that are squished to know if it's melted together, or torn.Great price if you catch a sale. Product works as it should and holds its shape well. These will help give those roots a lot of space to get the plants to a big size. (Plants were from repotting)

Flimsy 'pots'
The 'pots' are just flimsy, like a thick plastic bag. They can not stand on their own.I would not buy them again.

Thin and flimsy. More like a bag than a pot. And horrible burnt plastic smell!
Edit - I let them sit outside and much of the smell dissipated but it still concerns me it's there to begin with. But for the price I can put a lot of plants per tray with these so i decided I'll get more.I took a gamble on these despite the bad reviews because I wanted them the next day. They're SO thin, they are more like a plastic bag than a pot. And I thought the reviews complaining about the toxic burnt plastic smell would be overblown, but no- they're disgusting. And it does make your hands stink. So who knows what chemicals you're absorbing right there, let alone your plants. I recommend getting something else.

Barely 11 inch tall , not 12 inch as supposed to be.
Smelly, had to leave outside overnight still smell it. They are not the labeled size 12 inch, close to 11. Good news is they are not as flimsy as grocery shopping bag, able to hold soil with a hard container outside. They tightly stacked but not too hard to pull each pot ( bag) out.

Works fine for chestnut potting.
I have bought these many times now for planting my chestnut trees. Great buy for the money. The harder plastic ones are more convenient to fill than these, but are considerably more expensive. They grow trees just fine.

Ok & workable - but near impossible to keep level w/o additional container.
Thick but not easily leveled. These worked great for starting bulbs with long tap roots, but I did have to pot up to a sturdier base earlier than planned. The tops can be easily cut or folded down which was nice. I tried packing the bottom in various soils, but as the plants grow they become harder to keep level. For long term use they would need to be situated in an additional container. I also didn't care for the drainage design& cut more of my own over time.

Misleading picture and very thin.
Misleading pictures, very flimsy and bag like thin. But usable for couple months before transplanting to larger pots.
