The absolute best writing implement I've ever owned! I had a minor issue with the pen and it was resolved via 1 email and, it actually was my fault and not the company! (Typical male, didn't read the instructions thoroughly)!I sent them email requesting assistance around 11 pm est and with in 5 minutes I had a response from a real person. Mind you, there is a 5 hour time difference and it was around 4 am when they replied. Who does that!The craftsmanship, weight, design and writing resistance to me are beyond perfection! Due to the numerous admirers of this pen, it should have a tracker incorporated into it somewhere! I used the cartridges (instead of ink well) and it's nice to have the room to store an extra cartridge inside the pen. The container it arrived in what also very well thought out! I've owned countless numbers of pens from numerous organizations, manufacturers and countries, having served in the US Navy and purchasing writing implements from every country I visited. I'm now 58 years old and finally, I've obtained the best of the best, the creme de la creme, if you will! Being prior military and law enforcement, I've penned thousands of letters ( computers weren't available then) and I've never held a pen as fine as this one! Yes, i could have retired with the money I've spent on purchasing pens, some costing over $200 in my desperation to find the "PERFECT" pen! Indeed, it's off my bucket list and due to its quality, I'm sure handing it down to my adult children, will be an honor for me and them as well!I simply, cannot say enough about this pen. I would recommend replacing the "wanna-be" pens the President of the United States uses and hands out, with this one!Lastly, I highly commend the company for rigidly standing up for their products, for their commitment and dedication to the quality of their products and should be the "poster" company for customer satisfaction!Sincerely, Thomas

Really solid pen for the price... I own three of them and they all are extremely well made. They have a good weight to it. Ink flow sucks if you buy cheep ink, besides that the functionality of it is really straight forward.

the pen is very well made and smooth ink flow...i have used cheaper modles....this one is light years ahead of those..highly recommend, its perfectly balanced (with the cap on the end) its left hand friendly...right hand too lol...i prefer the fine nib for every day tasks ....writeing checks etc...and the med. or broad nib when i need it to look a little more stylish or fancy...signing chistmas cards..etc...

The media could not be loaded. This is my second Scriveiner pen. The first a ballpoint similar to this that has many miles of writing and refills and is still perfect. Like the ball point, this is nicely weighted. Not too heavy, but not at all cheap. The pen has good weight and balance. I like the feel with it posted, and, you can write with it unposted pretty well. The nib writes smoothly, maybe just a bit scratchy, but that seems to be diminishing as I use it more. And, this is a fine nib as opposed to a medium. This pen starts right up, even after sitting overnight (I keep my inked fountains horizontally, so your experience might vary). There is no tapping, or wetting needed. There is no skipping or drop outs.I want to note the EXCELLENT customer service. You will see in the video I questioned how loose the grip is once loosened from the barrel when unscrewing. I contacted Scriveiner on instagram and they had me send a video, which they responded to within an hour saying it was normal and, if the pen starts loosening when it is seated, they will be happy to take care of it. I put the video here because some may not like the amount of loose and slop this grip has when unscrewing. For me, once the grip is tight on the barrel, there is no issue and the pen is solid and really performs very well. I can live with the looseness. AND, it does seem out of sorts a bit considering how well built this pen is overall. I don't have fountains that are this sloppy when unscrewing them to fill. Overall though, especially for the money, an excellent pen and very excellent and caring customer service. i would buy another Scriveiner without hesitation.

I've taken to using primarily fountain pens for all of my day-to-day writing and to carry with me everywhere. Modern fountain pens have come a long way to make them practical. I started with and Amazon Basics fountain pen. And for as inexpensive and simple as it is, the quality was quite good. Wrote pretty smoothly, and ink flow was good. So I then thought more expensive meant a better pen. I will refrain from mentioning the brand I chose, but I thought it might be a happy medium between quality and cost. Turned out, while the pen was capable of smoothness and clean lines, it required more finesse than I was willing to provide at all times while using it. This time, I bought this Scriveiner fountain pen. The difference was nothing short of mind-blowing. Effortless, silky smooth, comfortable writing. I was expecting an improvement, but honestly writing with this Scriveiner pen has turned out to be an absolute joy... not just a chore with a tool. I find any excuse I can to use it. I'm sure the novelty will wear off as I get used to the superior quality, but this pen, at least for now, bring me great joy to write with it. I've been using cartridges and have had no problems at all and the ink flow has been grand. Some day I'll venture into using the converter and a bottle of ink... but not so far. Even the look and feel of this pen, and it's quality are plain to see. Everyone should use pens like this. It would make the world a happier place.

Purchased for a gift, she absolutely loves it. It is very smooth, great quality. Thinking of getting one for myself.
