I purchased this so my 6yr old could time her daily music practice. She loves the fox design and it has been very helpful. I love that it’s mechanical and not an electric device that will distract her focus from practice. I considered a clock but is smaller and fits well on the keyboard and she can use it for cooking also. Make sure you read the directions and wind it properly.

Really cute, accurate timer. Seems sturdy, well-made. Loud enough ringer. This would make a lovely gift...comes in a little box.

This thing is so cute. Originally I bought it to meet Amazon's free shipping minimum (any excuse not to look at my phone is a good purchase, in my book). Anyway, the whole family loves this little guy. He's not intrusive, makes our microwave more fun to look at, and everybody loves to play with him. I read the reviews extensively before purchase and was relieved to find that my assumptions were correct: there's nothing wrong with this timer, people are just impatient and don't typically take the time to read instructions. Just keep in mind that it's not a digital clock and you'll be fine. Sturdy materials, accurate timing, phenomenal price point. Just wind him up (full circle back to zero, then walk him to the desired time), and he'll dance on the countertop for you. My son (9) learned it in one go without issues. Works every time. The fact it doesn't need batteries is really nice! It is also, in our experience, loud enough to be heard throughout the house so everyone's on the same page. The kids named him Foxy Little Ears, and he is now an irreplaceable member of our household.

I use it as a shower timer. It works OK, but the alarm is not very loud and rings for about one second, just a quick noise. So, with the shower going, it can be hard to hear. If one were using it in a kitchen, thinking they'd hear it in the next room, they might be dissatisfied. It is cute. It is little. It does the job.

Cute! Mostly I use this fox to guard my freshly made bread as it cools. When the fox rings, everyone knows they are allowed to eat the bread.

I bought two of these and neither work, moreover Amazon now wants to charge me to return it rather than just trash it. I will happily take a video to show that it doesn't work, but now I have to waste my gas just to return it as well. Amazon is at my house every other day and they want to charge me to grab it while they re here, thos trash item has further cemented my exodus from this terrible company. I am canceling prime over a cheap trinket. good job.
