Easy fix
These things are an amazing time saver. I remember when patching drywall required you to cut out around the hole and patch in a new chunk of drywall…time consuming and difficult to match. With this you just clean it up and place over the hole, then plaster over…adheres very well if you clean all of the surrounding area, any dust will compromise the adherence. Once plastered over, sanded and painted you never know there was a hole there in the first place. A definite productivity enhancer!

value
First of all this product is hard to get the sticky tape for the wall side off. It doesn't make it easy to do this. Once you get the sticky cover off, it doesn't want to a hear to wall very well. You have to use some glue first. Then you use a generous coat of drywall paste to cover it up. After that you don't have to go back and deal with it again.

Wish these had been a bit stickier
These patches were a godsend for some recent electrical work I had to have done in the house, where a massive channel was blasted into my plaster walls and it would have taken 25lbs of spackle to fill it in. I cut up the larger pieces into smaller rectangles, peeled back the mesh from the cut sides and trimmed off about 0.5" of the metal plate with tin snips (a pair of scissors would have worked but would have been blunt by the end) and then put the mesh back in place to create custom sized patches. I didn't use the 2" patches, but the rest of the pack worked to cover about a 5ft long x 5"-7" wide hole. One gripe I have is that some of the patches didn't stick well to the wall, and lifted off after I had applied joint compound over it. I still have a layer of finishing compound left to add, but as of now the result has been satisfactory enough and saved me about $400 of labor and materials (according to a quote I got from my handyman).

Easy as it says
I needed to fit around plug in. Cut it myself. Worked great!

Way Better Than Cutting Wallboard
I have used these for several wall repairs after plumbing work. They require minimal wall prep, adhere really well and become virtually invisible after spackling is applied.

Where is the spackle or puddy
You say it's a hole repair kit. You have mesh hole patch cover, a plastic puddy knife & some sandpaper disc.but no spackle or puddy to finish patch job.

Pretty thick patch.
Needs a lot of compound to cover these. Much sanding and mess. Strong and effective but lots, of work to use.

Adhesive an issue
The adhesive is of little or no value.I had to use glue.If there was adhesive that worked it would be a wonderful product.
