If you didn't know, these are a common point of failure on Harley Davidson motorcycles and often erupt in smoke and flames such as my original one did. I bought this one here to replace the last replacement I installed which started to stick in the "ON" position after about 5 years. This one here is larger in diameter than the one I replaced. It worked just fine and I can't say anything bad about it. I hope it lasts longer.

When I would press the rear brake on my 2007 Nightster, nothing would change in the brightness of the tail light. Bought this replacement and has fixed that issue for over 2 months now. Make sure to use some form of thread tape, and DO NOT tighten all the way down. It’s a “conical” style shape, therefore it will not need to be tightened down all the way. Bleed the brakes afterwards as well.

Haven't used it yet as my local shop got one in town sooner. But it looks exactly the same as the one I spent a little more for. So when and if I use it and it doesn't work I'll come back and change my rating, that's a guarantee
