Great for the price.
Easy to install. Working great - keeps feed dry even in rain. Chickens love it. I have ports about 10 inches off the ground, almost zero waste.

Works great
The no waste ports for the chicken feed are simple to install on a plastic drum. The kit comes with all the items that are needed to make the holes and place the ports in drum. All you need is a drill for this install.

easy to assemble
sturdy , easy to assemble and install . I used a big bucket with a lid drilled holes with the hole saw. Now I have a bucket feeder that is easy to clean and refill. Very good value for the money

Very Little Wasted Feed
Purchased to replace a 30# standard circular galvanized poultry feeder. Our girls are messy eaters. They throw a lot of feed out everywhere, using standard feeder. LOTS of wasted feed on the ground! Installed the 6 pack on a cat litter plastic tub, 4-1/2" OC up from the bottom. Very easy install. After reading different reviews, lots of similar products, and what works best. Came to the conclusion you need a extended edge/lip going down into the feed, similar to the 90 degree plumbing fitting people use without issue. These drop down about a half inch, (not flush with bottom edge of hole) which makes it harder for the chickens to rake feed out of the opening. The hole height needs to be far enough up off the bottom of the container. 4-1/2" seemed to be the sweet spot. Proper placement height of the feeder is important to avoid waste. The lower to the ground, they will rake more feed out. Feeder holes at chicken eye level is ideal. It's not perfect, still a very small amount of feed does get pulled out, but with poultry, I think this is about as good as your going to get. Very happy so far after a couple weeks of experimenting. A LOT LESS wasted feed, compared to the old feeder! One other tip. Put a North States Two-Way Squirrel Baffle on top of feeder to keep birds from perching on top. Photo shows step up for our younger birds. Most of excess old feed on ground is from old feeder.

This Chicken feeder rocks!
This thing is amazing! We can go a few days between feedings with a big bucket! It keeps the food dry and it even comes with the drill bit needed to put it together. Make sure you put the silicone washers on the inside of the bucket, not the outside. We had to change it and it was pretty hard to unscrew the feeders once they are screwed on tight. It was our fault for not reading the directions. Now that we have to on correctly, this thing rocks! We didn’t know if the chickens would eat out of it but it was like they knew ahead of time what to do. Whoever came up with this invention is brilliant! Definitely recommend!

Works really well
I installed this on a used, clean cat litter container. It works great! I placed the holes between 3 1/2 and 4 inches from the bottom, one on each of the 4 sides. I placed the container on a cinder block and it is the perfect height. Yes, the saw makes holes a little large for the pvc but it's a non-issue as the silicone seal makes it waterproof and tight. The caps seal tightly to prevent rodents from accessing the feed at night.

Great product
I like that it came with everything it needed to get the job done. It even had a card with directions which I thought was handy for people who have never done it. My birds love this feeder now and I’m not losing feed due to rain. Thank you!

Excellent
Because the chicken has to go down a bit to pick up the food, virtually no waste
