I like salted butter and this tastes unsalted. It's not awful by any means and it's handy to have if I run out of butter. I wouldn't go putting it over popcorn tho bc it kinda just tastes like powdered milk.

I have used powdered butter for years and sadly this particular one doesn’t melt and has an awful taste.

The texture is that of a fine powder and t can be incorporated into a number of foods where adding butter may alter the desired texture.The information on the product pouch mentions mashed potatoes which will work well because it won’t thin out the potatoes like a stick of butter may, but it can also be sprinkled on vegetables, added to baking batters, incorporated into a popcorn seasoning, etc. It also can be reconstituted by adding 1 teaspoon of water to 1 tablespoon of the powder.A definite advantage of the powder is that unlike butter it does not require refrigeration—just store it in a cool dry place. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in September 2021 the Best By ate is 7 months in the future but dates will vary. Excellent.

I had never used a powdered butter and was impressed by this one. The smell on opening the package is quite a fresh butter smell. The taste is authentic and excellent. It is definitely a convenient form to use. I used it, separately, with potatoes and broccoli dishes. This could be used to boost any dish that you might normally put butter in.The instructions tell you to reconstitute it with one teaspoon of water per one tablespoon of butter powder, but I found this to be flexible depending on the dish you are serving. If the dish contains its own broth or soup, you can use that as the liquid to mix with the powder.The ingredients are only two: organic butter and organic nonfat dry milk. Both the front and back of the resealable package indicate that the product is made in the USA. I really appreciate that it is hormone and antibiotic-free. There is no mention of refrigeration and it seems to hold up well at room temperature on the kitchen counter.

I'm not sure how the butter will be I plan to try some soon if it reconstitutes even close to real butter I will be happy
