The few lamps we have previously ordered are both stunningly beautiful and create a perfect peaceful ambience for any time of the day or night. We added plugin dimmer switches to adjust for perfect light setting. We have ordered the house lamp from Amazon UK but unfortunately it has arrived in the UK and is stuck at the UK international hub in customs and a charge has been raised by customs which parcelforce worldwide are unable to say how long we will have to wait or what the extra cost will be. This is a Christmas present I ordered well in advance for my disabled wife and is due to arrive before Christmas. Fingers crossed, but please be aware that this may or may not happen if you order, as checks are randomly selected, hope this helps you understand the process but when it arrives it would've been worth the wait and even the customs charge because they really are a beautiful lamp for many rooms around the home. Antique Alive have been excellent with communication with quick response times too.UPDATE: Lamp received before Christmas 2019 customs charge £27.50 payed to the local Parcelforce as I called into collect in person. Definitely worth the wait :))

A little nervous buying from abroad (im uk based). Lamp turned up in about 2-3 weeks and is stunning. never seen anything like it.

Very pleased with this unusual lamp and you have the choice of a white light or a very soft red glow. Delivery took quite a while but it was worth the wait.
