It smelled really bad for about 3-4 days, but the smell fades away eventually. I lit a candle, opened my windows and sprayed some downy on it. If you can let it hang outdoors for a few days in your yard or patio, that would help as well. The rug looks just like the picture and is super soft, but is also very very slippery. You MUST get rug grippers to keep it in place, without them, the entire rug will slip (I almost fell). Even with a coffee table on top, it will slip. There are loose furs, so best to vacuum it before using it. It is annoying to vacuum, even bigger pieces of stuff. I ended up using a pet brush to get things out. Even strips of paper get intertwined inside and the vacuum will not suck it up. I do like that you can easily cut it to fit around the corners, there will be loose strands so make sure to vacuum those

8x10, not very thick but it is really soft and good for a throw rug. Pretty much exactly what I expected. Mine is not that slippery as mentioned in other reviews but, it doesn’t not slip, so I also ordered anti-slip rug stickers. I have no complaints truly.

We bought this rug for our new living room and fell in love. Our daughter loves how soft it is so we got a smaller one for her room! Worth the money!

It arrived in a fairly small box and I was really nervous. Thay said it expanded into a great rug for my granddaughters room! Love it!

This rug had some impressive vacuum sealed box. When I got it in such a small box I didn’t think it was going to be a good rug but it fluffed up quickly and it’s soft. For the price, it’s great!
