Cooks pasta great!
Having recently downsized, cooking pasta for two servings was an adjustment. It was hardly worth waiting for a big pot of water to boil for a plate of spaghetti, but this is the answer. Easy to use, easy clean up and no colander needed as it has its own strainer. Love it!

Don't have to wait for water to boil and then cook pasta for another 10 mins or so. It's a keeper.

Great for when you're low on spoons, but SALT THE WATER
If you want pasta but don't have the energy to do it properly, these will do the trick. It won't be quite as good, because the smaller ratio of water to pasta means you won't get much agitation during boiling. This means the noodles retain more starch, and that does have an impact on taste and texture. Depending on how you finish them, this might not be very noticeable; a lot of sauces will cover most of that, but if you do a lot of mild sauces or buttered noodles, it will be a little more obvious. Something like cacio e pepe doesn't have a whole lot of ingredients and bold flavors to hide behind. It's far from a dealbreaker unless you're really picky about your pasta and is still very good; just be aware that as is so often the case, the quality you get is relative to the work you put in.They may be a little more difficult to work with if you have a small microwave; ours is large enough for these to have plenty of room on the turntable, but more compact machines might not be able to turn this automatically; if that's the case, just pause to manually rotate once or twice during cooking. The cookers are quick and easy to wash after use; if you're not prompt about it, a bit of starch film will probably dry onto them, but even that won't be much of a problem whether you hand-wash or just toss it in the dishwasher. The long form factor of these lends itself well to long pasta like spaghetti, but it does work just as well for short shapes. The instructions just won't give you much help in that department; you can work out serving amounts based on your pasta's nutrition facts and a kitchen scale (or your intuition) and then use the amount of water recommended by the card for those servings, but it requires a little trial and error to find the right cooking time. The most important advice I can offer is that you salt your pasta water; the instructions make no mention of this at all, but pasta cooked in unsalted water is a desperately sad, bland thing no matter how you're cooking it. Dissolve anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon of salt (depending on your preferences and number of servings; this is another thing you'll need to dial in for yourself) in some water, pour that over the dry pasta in the cooker, and then dilute it down to the recommended cooking volume from there. It won't change anything about how the pasta cooks, but seasoning is vital. Nothing is worse than pasta that tastes like nothing more than al dente water.
