Huge upgrade from the old style
The media could not be loaded. This light is installed on a 1995 Harley Sportster 1200First impression is great. I had an older version which survived for 3 years but that was after replacing it 3 times and then living with half the lights not working. This one is a huge upgrade.First of all the build quality feels a lot nicer. They also included a rubber gasket on the inside which was a great idea. The old one did not have that and I did have some water issues. I don't like riding in the rain but the off chance you get caught I have a little more faith in this one holding up.Second the led lights are much brighter and contrasting. The turn signals are larger and more noticeable and again I have a lot more faith in this light for other drivers noticing it.As for the install, they include the typical wire harnesses on there that would normally work for newer year sportsters. However, since mine is older I had to cut off the harnesses and wire my own connectors in it. To me this was not an issue because I knew I would have to rewire it when I bought it. Anyone who is a little handy can handle it easy enough, just pay attention that you're hooking up the correct wires. I also went to the store and bought new bolts, the old ones had a sleeve on them that prevented them from being tightened. I picked up two shorter ones and two lock washers and it's on nice and snug. My bike is a solid mount so it tends to vibrate a lot so I so check the tightness of everything frequently and it's still snug after over 300 miles. In conclusion I love this light. It's way brighter, the build quality is a lot higher and I believe this should last me quite a few years. I definitely recommend it.

poor quality
I went through 2 of these within 2 months works for about a week and a half then lights cut out. I thought it was a faulty one I got the replacement and it worked for about 3 weeks. I didn't ride in the rain any of those 5 weeks. Do not trust these they will get you killed. Thankfully I had a friend tell me they went out both times.

Worked good till it didn’t. Easy repair though.
The media could not be loaded. Light worked great for about two or three rides. Then I had some one tell me that my brake light was out. But actually everything in the tail light wasn’t working. No license plate light or running light. The internal blinkers were also not working. After some testing I determined that the ground pin was not connected internally. I found a broken resistor (or at least that is what I think it was.) directly beside the ground pin. I resoldered it to the board and added some solder to each of the other components that looked lacking so they would not come off in the future. Light works again. Which is good because I do like the way it looks. Fairly bright as well. Blinkers also do not have passthrough plugs to you might have to come up with a solution to that if you want to keep your other blinkers working.

Forewarned: Their signal lights (may) require the circuit already occupied by existing signal lights
As you can see in my photos, I was excited and ready to install this new, brighter taillight with integrated turn signals on my Harley Touring bike, a 2013 Ultra Classic. But I found an issue that isn't addressed in the product listing: if you already have turn signals connected in your tail light bezel, their wiring design requires that you unplug any existing turn signal wires from the bezel to get these integrated turn signals to work. I definitely didn't have in mind to disconnect the factory signals. It is true that I should be able to splice the wire into the old harness, but I'd hate to do that and have some surprise problem with the circuit - I just don't know. The manufacturer has confirmed that the default for my issue would mean I have to pick the integrated turn signal lights -or- my factory lights. However, they were also very clear that it is possible to splice their turn signal lights onto the wires for the factory signal to get both. That would mean I have to penetrate the wiring for the factory signals and I haven't yet decided whether I want to do that, just keep the light as a tail light only, or return the light. Hmmm.

Looks good, that's where it ends
UPDATE 5/26/23 (less than 20 days later) WELL, I f***ing got rear ended thanks to this failure of a product. Tail light does not illuminate other than turn and running lights. Only dims the tag light when applying the brakes. I'll be returning this POS as soon as possible.
