Our cat overgrooms herself and has significant hair loss on her belly and hind legs... see photo. She lives a stress-free life, with lots of indoor space to roam; she's playful, content, and healthy in every other way. She's 7 and this has been going on for two years. There's no explanation for her bad habit, but our vet suspected a food allergy and prescribed a restricted diet. It doesn't seem to be helping after two years. Steroids helped, but we don't want her on meds forever. We are desperate to solve the problem and our vet approved these wipes. The cat tolerates these once we are able to tackle her and apply the liquid. The fragrance is pleasant and doesn't seem to bother her. She acts like it feels soothing when we wipe her affected areas, but it's a tricky task to hold her and get the job done. It would help if the pads were a little larger. We have found that just picking up the jar distracts her from licking, even if we have to try again later to apply the wipes. The sight of the jar also works as a visual aid for discipline, such as getting her off the kitchen counter quickly, ha ha. But we are really hoping that we can get consistent with the application daily and see some results. It takes a long time for cat hair to grow back.I must add that the STRAWFIELD PETS Company has exemplary customer service! I have communicated with them by email and they have been very friendly and helpful, with personalized responses. If you want to try this type of product for your cat or dog, I highly recommend this particular brand.

I used this product to help ease the suffering of an old feral that had mange (in conjunction with the mange meds from this product line).The feral lets me pet him while he eats so I tried to wipe his head that was horribly affected with mange. He flinched because this is an antiseptic so it will burn a bit. But it eased quickly and I was able to wipe down around his face, ears and top of his head.It does have a smell so he knew I was coming with it but his need for food overcame his fear of the medicine pads.These pads helped heal him up quickly.If you are treating mange I suggest getting the mange pills sold by this brand to use along with this antiseptic pad.I won't use anything else because the results were amazing!I wish I had gotten before images but I do have the after. His fur was completely gone and he had scabs and red inflamed skin before.In the image you can see his fur is back and no more skin lesions or redness.

Adopted an American Pitbull Terrier mix from the humane society. She's the largest "puppy" (now dog) that I've ever had in my life. I noticed some bumps on her chin and sometimes they would be bloody. After further investigation, we realized she had ACNE! Who knew? Dog acne is an actual thing! I went to YouTube and found a video that had a guy and his pitty on it. He too, had a dog with acne and recommended a chlorhexidine spray. After searching through Amazon, I decided on this particular brand. I saw a difference in just a day! After 2 applications (on the same day), 24 hours later the bumps had stopped bleeding, the aloe had calmed her inflamed skin and the bumps dried up. However, the wipes are actually pads that are about 2" in diameter and they are very thin. They are SO thin, it's hard to peel them apart and the amount of product on the wipe it's worth the money spent. I'd advise you to purchase the bottle or spay instead.

Been using these for a long time now. They currently have been out of stock and I hope they come back soon. I use them daily on my dog’s feet after walk.

They are very small, have to use around 10 just for the head alone

My dog had a staph infection in both ears in February and I had to get antibiotics and antiseptic wipes from the vet to treat it. When I saw the flakiness/scabs and hair loss in her ears start to return this summer and wasn’t able to get a vet appointment right away, I ordered one case of these after reading reviews to treat her with in the meantime. I didn’t see anything about treating staph specifically so I also ordered tea tree oil and aloe oil to dilute it 3 parts aloe/1 part tea tree (as too much tea tree can be toxic) and would add a drop of this mixture onto the wipes before using every night before bed just as an extra boost. After about half the case using one per ear each night, it completely cleared it up! After our vet appointment today and a skin test, she had NO staph! She had a little bit of yeast down deep in one ear where I couldn’t reach with the wipes which they gave me solution for but thankfully no staph and no antibiotics were needed. This is my second case of these wipes, I like to keep on hand just in case or if my other dog happens to get a good ear licking then I use them before bed that night without tea tree to rid of bacteria. Worth the price- it saved my baby’s ears, me a trip to the vet in the midst of COVID plus cost of antibiotics. Worth it.

Product smells wonderful. Very light. Molly seemed to like it. Some of the reviews complained about the size of the pad and the amount of moisture, or the lack there of. My girl, sometimes gets yeast infections on her tummy, her whoo ha, her hind knees, under her tail where it's fastened to her butt, and her feet. She's a chi weenie so shes not too big. 1 pad treated every thing that needed treatment. The instructions say " for use on small areas". It does not say wash your dog with them. They are the perfect size for her, with the perfect amount of moisture, not wetness. I just treat the areas that are affected. A little dab will do it. I'm very impressed and so is Molly. There was some question on the color of the pads ? These are not white. They are kind of a light rust color. Results have been impressive.

My 14 month old Doodle was always getting into things in the backyard and as such would wake up with matted eyes in the morning , this is in the face of me wiping them at night and her swimming in our pool all day . After only 2 applications of Strawfield Chlorhexidine pads to her eyes , the problem is totally cleared up ......simply stunning, a product that does what it claims ...Bravo ......
