I try to do as much vehicle work as possible. Stock drain end up making a mess not with Votex. Had a "mechanic" (because it was the dead of winter. My shop is a driveway.) put one on my pick up it leaks a small amount. Trying to figure out that issue. Put another one on my car myself and it works perfectly no leaks. Also, bought an antenna from Votex for my truck. Works great. Pleased with their products.

The plug was easy to install but the end cap took a bit to try and thread it on. I haven’t used it to change the oil but it doesn’t leak you just need to keep the extension with your truck to be able to use it.

Great quality item and faster than told shipping. This item fit our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse perfectly. The bolt is just a little bit shorter than the stock bolt but was not an issue. Very strong magnet and awesome quality. I put a few wraps of, Teflon tape on the treads to aid in no leaks and it worked like a charm. While you are at it and if you have the funds buy the magnetic drain plug for the Transmission case drain plug.
