Works
Product works on irritating insects that invade home interior in Spring thru Fall. BUT, it is an oil, spraying it on painted surfaces will dissolve paint. Keep the spray to a fine stream use as close to edge as you can. Or wipe overspray with a clean rag. It worked in my garage, patio, and I use it indoors. Do not use if you have cats. CATS ARE SENSITIVE TO MOST SPRAYS, no matter what the label says.

Hope it helps
I can handle a lot of things, but spiders- not so much. I don't want to use chemicals around my home, but I would really love to sit outside without one of those giant nasty spiders slowly creeping down to my head without me realizing it, so I am really hopeful this will help. It is easy enough to use. You just remove the lid and put the sprayer nozzle on instead. You can adjust the size of the stream it sprays. it sprays ok for the most part, but if you are trying to reach higher spaces for a few sprays you will have to reposition your spray to get it to start flowing again. It does sometimes leak a bit from the sprayer onto my hand. I can't smell anything for the most part, but I can tell that this one has a smell. It doesn't smell like peppermint to me, but I imagine to a normal nose it probably does smell very strongly of peppermint. Mostly, I hope it smells awful to spiders so they can peacefully live in places I do not see them. I focused most of this on the garage and areas I like to sit outside to hopefully keep those areas spider free. I also used some inside, figuring it can't hurt. It did not stain any areas where I sprayed. I haven't seen any spiders yet, but it is just starting to warm up around here, so we will see. I really appreciate that this is a natural solution and that it is safe for use around children and pets. It is a good sized jug and I was able to cover a lot of area with plenty left for further applications. It does not tell me how often I should reapply or anything though, which would be nice. If this happens to work successfully, I will be a very happy person and will make sure to come back here to recommend it to everybody.

Non-toxic--but ineffective
For the past few days, I've been spraying this on the spider that is constructing and expanding his web on my back porch. He doesn't like it. He moves away. The web vibrates. Droplets stick to the web. But that's it. He's still there and expanding his operation. Much the same has happened when I've used this product on other spiders. With the usual pesticides, one spray and the spider or insect keels over. But the same poisons that are so effective with bugs are harmful to people. Sure, they won't kill you--right away, but they are toxic and they aren't doing good things for you. This product has the opposite problem: it's not toxic, but its ineffective. My spider's web is pretty established. Perhaps, a whiff of this would suffice to persuade him to build a web elsewhere if he were not so established. Actually, I did spray this on a spider in a web a while back, and when I saw the spider was still there, I knocked down the web. He didn't come back to that place. So, it is possible this spray has deterrent value. In any case, I have to say that the smell is great.

Smells good but overall ineffective
The initial spray will make the spiders run away, but it doesn’t keep them away for good. I’ve used this product multiple times and spiders always end up coming back like nothing ever happened.

So,so…
It’s ok I guess. It didn’t work well for my needs. The pest problem continued and the spray didn’t seem to work but it smelled good. Natural, pure peppermint oil mixed with water in a spray bottle is what I ended up using and it works much better than this. I have to spray it everyday but it’s worth the effort and significantly less in price.
