I was in the process of returning this, when I decided to try once again to attach it but, this time I would start at the headboard, instead of at the footboard. What a huge difference that made! You must follow directions, even if, like me you have installed many similar products.We never had a metal headboard and footboard in the past, so it was extremely important to find something with split corners around the footboard, and this does in fact have that. The fabric, when steamed with my Amazon purchased Beautural Steamer has a silk like quality. It hangs beautifully and is a lovely tailored style (with center pleats) bed dust cover.Take your time to install this, and do follow the instructions, beginning at headboard. I am so glad that I did not return this! I also glad I ordered this and ignored other reviewers complaints. I will probably need to tuck in every time sheets are changed, but we have a Personal Comfort Bed and I do not want to use upholstery pins. The color is perfect match for my bed sheet and comforter. Highly recommend!!!!

The Sleep Number store tried to tell me there was no other place to get a skirt to fit their adjustable base... Well, this product proves them wrong! It fits perfectly around the new frame and costs a fraction of the price they were charging! Highly recommend!

I'm surprised by some of the reviews on this so I wanted to leave my experience. I've had a couple of these and this one IS a bit different BUT, in my opinion the best one I've had. It's the pleat and not ruffled, which is what I wanted. It was super weird when I unwrapped it and I was annoyed! But then I lined it up properly, slipped into place and used the awesome cork screw tacks it came with and fell in love with it! I assume it can't have elastic because it will make it ruffle, so the tacks work great to hold it in place and for the look and the lowest price I've ever paid, I'm thrilled and it's perfect. So yes when you get it out of the package it's like wait! What?! But I promise you'll love it once on and I didn't even unmake my daughter's bed when I put it on! Didn't iron it either, was going to steam it but didn't want to and it looks great (well okay, at least!). Hope this helps and the little tack things are included, it's a tiny package.

I am giving this 3 stars ONLY because it fits WAY better than any traditional bedskirt. HOWEVER, there is no way you could put this around your bed NEATLY without removing the mattress first. It is too big for my queen bed which irked me. A queen is a queen and this was not designed for a queen--the entire thing would have hung it it wasn't for the pins--and oh by the way I bought extra pins--I placed 9 on each side to ensure it wouldn't move when I changed the sheets.It is very thin material but you can't see through the black once it is on the bed. Why this company doesn't make a gray doesn't make sense but blacked worked. Because I like a very neat look, I used a travel steamer to get all the wrinkles out.It is a bit of work to get it on the bed but in the end I don't see any white sticking out and it hangs pretty well. If it wasn't for the pins and my steamer this would have went back.

Very glad I got this. The colour went well with my other bedding and it stayed in place perfectly without the included "pins". It doesn't look as crushed out of the package as some reviews said. I was expecting much worse, like it was rolled into a ball and crammed into the package or something. Gives the bed a nice finished look and it was great not to have to mess with moving the mattress around to get it in place.Update: It's been years and I changed my bedding and needed another skirt so rather than shop around and read tons of reviews trying to guess what else might be good, I went with what worked before and very pleased again.

This bed skirt is perfect for my bed. I have an electric bed with a bar in the way. This bed skirt works!

I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews and ordered this anyway. I live alone and have a black cat who likes to rub up on surfaces and leave her hair everywhere. With a traditional bedskirt, I would have to lift my mattress to get the bedskirt off and wash it, then lift again to put it back on.This bedskirt eliminates that need. It took me maybe 10 minutes to get it situated and I didn't have to lift my mattress at all. I did not use the pins that came with it, but will save them in case I need them. So far it has not shifted. As other reviews have said, it was incredibly wrinkled due to the way it was packaged, but after a couple days in the summer humidity it has pretty much sorted itself out, and I have a handheld steamer to get out the rest.Very happy with this purchase!

I was very hesitant in ordering due to some poor reviews. I am very pleased with purchase. I figured since it was prime I could send back if not happy. I am keeping. All bed skirts should be made this way. For the money spent you will be happy. I put it on and then touched up any wrinkles with my steamer.
