Great kids toy
My grandson loves this ukulele. It’s the right size and can stand up to some rough behavior. It’s priced so that even if it breaks, you don’t feel like you thrown your money away

Great for Todlers
It's fine! Exactly as described, not broken. This "instrument shaped object" was intended for my 3 year old who broke his last similar stringed toy and was very sad about it since he'd wore it down for a long time and it finally gave out. This one soothed his broken little heart and he was very excited to open and play with it.Don't expect a tunable instrument, it's just a cheap fun toy for little kids. If that's your expectation, five stars!Bonus: He learned to say 'mahogany' picking the color and it was adorable.

Better than expected — great fit and feel
The Raimy 17in kids ukulele is a great intro instrument for little ones. It looks just like a real ukulele and feels sturdy. My kid picked it up fast and loves playing with the included picks. The sound is decent for a toy, and it’s perfect for sparking musical interest. Great for toddlers and young kids just starting out. Plus, the mahogany look gives it a nice touch. Fun, educational, and well worth it!

Perfect toy for a 2-year-old interested in "guitars"
Picked this up on a whim for a clever 2-year-old -- a teacher at daycare has a ukulele, and they had also seen some online videos of young kids singing and playing ukuleles. The kid's eyes lit up and we now have a ton of adorable photos and videos as they sing and strum. To clarify -- there is no real music coming from this instrument. The 2-year-old is successfully holding this uke, plucking streams, and strumming (and sometimes using the attached pick), but is not attempting to hold strings on frets, not attempting to play chords, and not attempting to play any correct/specific notes. That said, I've played a few simple melodies by holding one string to the frets and didn't have any problems with buzzing.I spent about a minute one day trying to actually tune it to itself, before the 2-year-old demanded it back. I was not successful, but it very well might have just been me. It seems feasibly tunable, although I have a hunch the pegs may not hold their position and would fall a little out of tune in a day or less. For what we needed -- a reasonably safe and sturdy "guitar" for a 2-year-old, this was absolutely perfect. I have been tempted to buy a stack of 10 of them to have on hand as easy gifts for other kids. The photos and videos we now have of the child with this uke are priceless, and favorites of all our family.

Cheap looking
Photos are a tad deceptive, quality isn’t the best. Could have gone down to a $5 store that had exact same thing and got. It’s ok, my kid was happy to get it.

Great Christmas gift
My daughter has been wanting a ukulele for a long time so I bought this for her, great entry level instrument to get the beginners comfortable with the shape and feel and also not overpriced so it gives them a chance to see if they actually want to play it or not

Not a musical instrument
If you’re looking for a learner Ukulele for kids, this is not it. My husband and I are both musicians—we know how to tune a Ukulele. This one just will not hold a tune or produce actual tonal chords when played. It is just an abrasive prastic-y noise, even after an attempt at tuning. The plastic ‘strings’ do NOT hold a tune or consistently produce the right pitch when strummed. It’s just a noise-producing toy, not an instrument. This will hold no educational value if your purpose is to teach a child to play the Ukulele. Should have expected as much with the cheap price.

Good
Seems to be a durable plastic guitar. It’s nice for the price. Our 3 year old really likes it!
