Heim & Büro JB Adhesive Weld 2-component adhesive

I used this to bond lead edging strip to cement. I mixed this in a relatively cool environment and found the consistency just right for my purposes, i.e., tacky and not too runny. This, and the generous working time, allowed me to position the items to be bonded exactly as I wished before making a commitment. I kept an eye on things for the first 30 minutes to ensure no slippage. Any tools, containers, used for applying product can be easily cleaned up with soapy water straight after use. As per the instructions I did not interfere with the items at all for about 6 hours. I left the items for a full 24 hours in total before attempting any rough handling. I am very pleased with the performance of this product.

Generally: you stick something together using this, it will stay stuck. Sets like rock. I used it to fix the tip of the plate on our iron - it actually held for a few uses before temperature and action broke it off again. Re-set once more, so we'll see how long it lasts but the fact it held up even for one use is frankly amazing. We thought we'd just have to throw the iron away!

Not as easy to use as I had hoped. Doest stick all metals.

Pretty gooey stuff and there's not much in the tubes, especially for doing any larger jobs. However, after 24 hours the 'weld' appeared pretty strong and subsequent work on the replaced mild-steel panel stayed rigid and has remained intact. so fingers crossed.

Use it to repair cast iron legs on some gas cooking rings, haven’t used them in anger yet but they seem to be rock solid, also to repair a handle on a metal lid.I used another well known epoxy on it and it failed twice. Touch wood the JB Weld has held up so far.

I may have had too high an expectation - I hoped this would mend my garden wheelbarrow where the original welding of the barrow to the frame had come aprt - but it dinn't . Could have been my poor application but frankly I think the job was too big for it .Maybe I need to find a blacksmith / metal working shop.

Ich habe für eine Bachelorarbeit mehrere Kleber getestet und dachte mir, da dieser mit über 27N/mm2 sehr gut abschneiden wird. Jedoch habe ich in den Versuchen im Mittel nur eine Zugfestigkeit von 11,20N/mm2 erreicht.Die stärkste Probe hat auch nur 16,45 N/mm2 erreicht, dies ist auch noch zuviel.Nicht zu empfehlen falls man minimale Klebflächen hat.

Nachdem ich den Kessel eines doch etwas betagteren Zahnarztkompressors habe sandstrahlen und lackieren lassen, erwies sich dieser daraufhin leider als inkontinent. Innen rauhe Oberflache durch Rostfraß und vereinzelte kleine Durchrostungen. Der Kessel ist jedoch leider beim Hersteller nicht mehr erhältlich, trotz deutschem Markenhersteller. Naja, ehrlich gesagt, dieser Kompressor hat wohl schon vor 45 Jahren meine Kinderzähne bohren geholfen. Löcher mit JB Weld zugeschmiert. Ich hoffe, das beim ersten Test keine Undichtigkeiten mehr vorhanden sind. Bis jetzt sieht alles gut aus.

habe mit diesem Kleber beste Erfahrungen gemacht. Härtet "steinhart" aus, verklebte Teile wohl dauerhaft verbunden. Verwendung hauptsächlich für die Draht-und Blechteile von Garten-Windrädern, Verbindungen haben sich noch nie gelöst, wie schon bei anderen Klebern erlebt. Aus meiner Sicht ein hervorragender 2-Komponentenkleber.

En GB.....Autre produit ARAL METAL mais bon ...☺️

Was mir gefällt, ist dass der Kleber Geruchsneutral ist, und seine Klebekraft, Hitzebeständig auch sehr gut. Habe zwei Elemente aus Metall zusammen geklebt und es hält.Ich würde es wieder kaufen.Von mir klare Empfehlung 👍😷
