Better to replace cap stopper than thermos
These fit my coffee thermos perfectly. Easy to install. Leak proof.Much better for the environment to replace the cap stopper than purchase another mug just because the stopper looks gross and would clean up anymore.Highly recommended

Not a like for like replacement - ok for now
This was actually slightly larger than the original stopper on my contigo 16 oz travel thermos. I thought that would work well since so many reviews mentioned it being "too small." And it does work, just not like before. When you push button to drink, it doesnt release the stopper all the way - bc it is slightly larger. And it also doesnt seal all the way, so if you turn the cup totally upside down it will slowly start to leak.Really wanted to avoid needlessly buying a whole replacement mug, but see myself doing so anyway as I can already foresee violently mashing the release button to get a normal flow of coffee would get old real quick.

Did not stop water escaping from sipping hole.
Fits contego lids, but did not stop water escaping from the hole it is supposed to plug. My wife threw away most of her contego containers that ended up leaking in her purse except one. I thought I was going to save the day with this product only to have her hold it upside down and water run out of the lid for a couple seconds. Not Good!
