Amazon recommended a large, and, according to the size chart, a large would be the best option, so it was ordered in white for a 5'10" 160# male. Material is nice; smooth, soft, comfortable, and reasonably stretchy, but also holds firmly. Fit is good, and seems true to size. The large waistband, unfortunately, does not stay in place, and falls down, essentially ruining the point of these underwear. Yes, the wearer can continually pull them up, but it's awkward, uncomfortable and frustrating; perhaps if they had a silicone bead on the inside/top of the waistband to help hold them up it would do the trick. As is, they don't function as intended and are not recommended.

When I first received Men Shapewear it was a little tight. I have been working hard and now it's started to fit great. It helps when wearing a nice fitted outfit. I have only one will order more. Highly recommend.

I had never tried these types of men's Spanx products but I was surprised at how well it worked to tuck everything in. The description says to size up from what you would normally purchase underwear in and I'm glad I did as it really does seem to be the ideal fit. Seems to be good quality otherwise but let's see how well it holds up after a few washes. Really does have a good slimming effect if that's what you're after

Fit well, comfortable to wear. Durable, stretchy fabric. Easy to wear all day. Top of shorts can sometimes be visible with certain clothing.
