Super easy to assemble. I will admit I have had MANY others so that might have contributed to the ease I had. I also have strong arm strength (horrible leg weakness). SO I did not have trouble fully extending the 9 ft and placing it in the base ( already had one) and tightening up the base screw to secure it properly.Love the color. Seems to be a sturdy fabric. Hopefully will hold up. I don't care if the sun bleaches the color. I probably over time will. I am pleased with my purchase.

Revised Review...-------I changed my review to 4 stars. Some weeks after I wrote the original review, I received an email from the seller via Amazon, offering to replace the umbrella that broke or send me a refund. Pleased, I accepted the replacement. They asked me for a photo, which I sent, of the broken part so they could review and improve their production process. The new umbrella arrived on Friday. My stepson and grandson set it up on Saturday, and all is well. The seller did all they could to fix the problem and make it right. Contrary to my original review, I will not hesitate to buy a JEAREY umbrella again.Original review...-------a gust of wind blew it over. I picked it up and tried to close the canopy. The shiny cylinder that looks like metal where the pole tilts is shiny plastic, which was broken, which prevented closing the canopy. A friend removed the screws holding the spokes to the central hub so we were able to fold it down and throw it away.ok... wind happens, and these umbrellas are vulnerable to damage. Nothing is perfect.Neither are these umbrellas. I won't buy this product again.-------

Great quality and just the right color. It opens easily, has good weight and is very stable. I can’t see why anyone should pay more.

I use them to provide shade on my second story deck to make it livable in the summer. They also shade the second story of my house and save electricity. It is best if I close them in very high winds, however, before I learned this, they survived being whipped by high winds and blown off the second story to the ground multiple times.I’m surprised, but the stand works just as well (and gives me flexibility in positioning the umbrella) as attaching the umbrella to my deck railing … IF ….. I completely fill the stand with sand and water.

The umbrella was used less than ten times on our patio when it broke in the tilt joint. Because of the nature of the product and it not being used daily, it broke after the thirty day return period at Amazon. Amazon refused to stand behind the purchase of this product. I received a notification from the Jersey, asking if I would send a picture of the broken area. I did and they replaced the umbrella. I appreciate the customer service from their company.
