E-COCO PRODUCTS UK Horticultural Grade Grit. Just as horticultural grit has served the professional grower for many years, it can help the home gardener solve a multitude of common problems. It promotes drainage and aeration in heavy clay soils, is great for cactus plants, alpines and fantastic for use with lavender and lavender hedges. It looks good too, so it can be used to decorate plants in pots, planters, containers and more. What are the benefits of horticultural grit? It is a key element in all soils to add improved structure and drainage, while providing small pockets to hold essential air and water. It improves aeration and drainage. 2-10 mm nominal horticultural grade. Is inorganic and does not deteriorate. Is washed and lime free.
