Rare Les Miserables by Victor Hugo Leather Bound Collectible Gift Hardback 1st Print

One of my all time favorite musicals is Les Miserables, and I LOVE to read, so I decided that it would be fun to read the original story. The books design is stunning and the details are incredible. It’s a great gift if you or someone you know loves Les Mis, likes to read classics, and it’s a great collectible item. However, it is a very very lengthy book and you’d need a lot of time to actually sit down and read it, and an even longer time to finish it, plus the letters are super tiny. But it will feel very rewarding once you finish, and you’d get to read the inspiration for the musical phenomenon PLUS getting in a history lesson! I couldn’t recommend this enough to my book/musical theatre lovers, it’s super cool to own.

What can one say about a classic so great, so well written but to say "I wonder if it is even greater in French".Tremendous historical information. Capturing story line. Brilliant writing. A masterpiece by one of the most significant writers in world history.The French writers like Honore de Balzac, Victor Hugo and Emile Zola were masters at describing the environmentas clear as a photograph, injecting characters, and building the plot. An immortal classic by an immortal writer.
