Cooling Neck Band

I bought this for my granddaughter who was having problems with the heat while horseback riding. Initially we used out it on her during her first water break. After that we put in on her as soon as she arrived for lessons. It stays cool in the hot sun for an hour without taking it off to recool the rag. It's been a life saver and absolutely perfect. The size can fit an adult or child because it has a button hole on one side. You simply fit it to your personal need. This would be great for construction workers, roofers, and any outside Jobor acivity. Another great thing is its not too bulky like the large towel designs.

I cannot believe how good this little rag works. Just soak under the faucet an squeeze out extra water and put on your neck. Now I can work in the yard for 3 hours w/out overheating. No more stopping every 30 min for an hour. I LOVE this thing!

This is a great inexpensive thing to keep cool with. Its almost an thin absorbent foam type material, definitely not fabric. They are nice and pliable when wet/damp (they come damp sealed in plastic) but if you let them dry out they are as stiff as a board. You can re-wet over and over and will need to do so about every couple of hours in the heat. Doesn't drip unless you overly saturate and dont wring out at all. Feels soft and comfortable around your neck but is awkard asthetically.

I got two of these for hot days. They are just “okay.” I’ve had much better cooling cloths than these. I kept them and will use them but they don’t get super cold even when soaked in ice water and the coldness isn’t really lasting. Okay for me because I’m using them in the car on my way home from work because my a/c sucks when it gets super hot and I often get stuck in traffic. However, these aren’t going to give you much relief if you’re working outside.

As someone whose job keeps them outside for 95% of the day the heatwaves can be brutal. Got this to help keep me cool on the overly hot days and I have to say for $5 it works amazingly well. Have to rewet it periodically but other than that it’s easy and does its job.

You should look at my photos and read this ridiculous exchange between me and Ergodyne for a $5 item. But it's the principle and the vendor's attitude that I want to address. Is this the kind of company you want to do business with? (INCIDENTALLY, AMAZON REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY AFTER I JUMPED THROUGH ALL ERGODYNE'S HOOPS.) ME: The Ergodyne cooling neck wrap I was sent, ordered through Amazon, is dirty. The package looked unopened, but the product has multiple dirty places, on each fold and all around the edges, as if the item had been opened, used and laid down in dirt … and then … repackaged to look new? Whether that happened at someone else’s home or at the factory, it seems I am not the first user of this product. Please send a new clean replacement product or refund the purchase. I realize I can go to Amazon, but wanted to give you the chance to make this right without involving them or my bearing the inconvenience of having to bring it to a return center. ERGODYNE's internal communication within its customer service team: Hello Lisa! See below. This Amazon customer is stating that the cooling towel they received looks to be dirty/stained, and the packaging doesn’t look like it was tampered with. Would we want to replace this under warranty? Should I run this by Lexi and Ted? ERGODYNE to Me: Thank you for your email. I’m sorry to hear about your concerns with our cooling towel. Our operations team is reviewing this and has noted that the towel in your photos looks to be activated. Can you please send updated photos once the towel has completely dried out for comparison? ME: (after leaving the towel out of its packaging, I sent new photos) ERGODYNE: Thank you for sending this information over. After review, our product managers have stated that this would not be something covered under warranty and is ineligible for replacement. They recommending machine washing and air drying the product before first use. If you still wish to return the product for a refund, this will need to be done with Amazon as they have your purchase information. Please let me know if you have any questions. ME: (Question voiced privately to self) WTF?

I bought these (4) to keep me cool for a golf tournament. I froze them overnight and put one around my neck. It was no more than 3o minutes before they were so warm they were ineffective. I threw them away. I gave the product a 2 star because the color was pretty and the material was soft. I would never buy them again.

Stays really cool in 100 plus degrees especially if soaked in cold water also reusable

Does the job real well

Macht was es soll. Habe erst nicht dran geglaubt. Der einzige Nachteil … wenn es trocken wird is es so hard wie Schmirgelpapier

Quickly cools

Nice to have in summer, but you have to rinse in warm, cold water or else it will smell like wet clothes from dryer.
