Works great with FRESKO bags, sometimes struggles to pull and hold a vacuum with the cheap, thinner rolls (although they seal fine). Edit I've had this for a couple of weeks and have been using more than I expected. Sous vide, portioning food for freezing, resealing things like spices, grains, pasta and crisps, batch prepping veg to keep in the fridge and making sliced fruit bags for packed lunches. I've even used it to seal a paintbrush overnight so I could just use again the next day without cleaning or the paint going hard on it.

I am appalled by the apparent lack of Quality Assurance of this product. I ordered one last week, it was not working. I ordered a replacement while I was going to return the first one. Unfortunately, the replacement is not working either. This has been a disappointment, a waste of my time, and money that I had to put upfront. As we take the product out of the box, we can't really follow the instructions of taking the sink tray. This is because half of the internal mechanism is falling from one of the sides, and blocks the tray. It's almost as if someone forgot to screw one of the sides. That happened on both vacuum sealers that I got. They don't suck the air out of the bags, one would only partially seal the bag, the other none at all. Both are being returned and there will not be a third one.

Bought this to replace a defective unit that i had had for a number of years. After browsing Amazon, this unit came to my attention and I am glad it did! It is more compact than my previous model, with only couple of touch sensitive options. It is fully automatic, as you only have to insert the bag into the slot and away it goes on its own! No selecting dry or wet produce with this unit - it sorts itself out on its own. You cant go wrong. It has a "seal only" function and a pipe if you have vacuum jars etc. (i have never owned any myself!) A great quality product which everyone should own.

A little bit noisy, but does a good job. Had 1/2 a lemon 🍋 didn't know what to do with it so vac packed, put it in the fridge, 3 weeks later still good quality. Top tip, try not to have to much liquid in the bag tends to suck a lot out. Great for meat with a dry or paste marinade, leave in fridge if your using soon or freezer for long term.

Does it get all the air out? No. Does it take it's sweet time? Absolutely. But at this price point it's more than adequate, does a great job and is reliable. I waited until I'd sealed well over 200 bags before reviewing, and it's not let me down yet.

Ordered 2 of these, 1 for raw meat and the other for cooked. First one worked but the sealant bar on the right doesnt go all the way up but it still works, second one didnt work at all, contacted the customer support, this was 2 weeks ago, still waiting, so i organised to get sent back where Amazon refunded pretty quickly. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and got another, when it arrived i noticed the tape that is in front of the sealant bar was hanging down and i had to push into the gap all the way along. When it seals the tape drops down and i've go to do it again. Gonna send it back. Wouldn't touch another one of these with a barge pole and don't let the low price fool you, you do get what you pay for.

Its a neat design with easy to read buttons. The bags just slot into a gap, rather than having to open and close a lid, which is great when sealing wet food. It will seal any bags, not just the supplied, so can seal large bags of food items such as veg or crisps. Will vacuum and seal or just seal. Very quiet
