The best of the best
Was originally bought for my son for Christmas until he told me he wouldn't use an electric shaver because he was worried about his sensitive skin. So I decided I would keep it for myself and it didn't disappoint. I already had a braun series 9 so one of the best but this philips 9000 turned out to be so much better because of everything it offers, like the lift and cut, it sensitive skin technology and the self sharpening blades. The shaver has three speeds and is SO MUCH QUIETER than the braun and performs a much closer shave than the braun. I bought the one with the seperate attachments but haven't used them yet but the QI charging pad is so much more convenient than the braun, it also came with a cleaning dock which doesn't need to be plugged in as the shaver powers the cleaning dock making it easy to use and it's cleaned in around a minute. I have now sold my braun and am so happy with the philips shaver. I got it in the black Friday sale so it was £249 a little expensive but my braun cost the same but if you want quality then I highly recommend the philips prestige 9000 it's excellent.

Best Philips shaver ever
3rd top S9000 series I’ve bought and this is the best, producing the closest shave, stated as 0.0mm. Can be used wet or dry. Easy to clean with flip top, exposing the blades to allow a water rinse. Easy charging by placing razor onto charging panel, hence no direct connection. Only thing missing is carry case. Very good price in Black Friday sale.

Good shaver
I have used this shaver for about two months. It replaced an earlier generation Philips shaver which was beginning to show signs of battery fatigue. This new model has a detachable shaver head (it is integral on the earlier model). It took a while to get used to the larger shaver head but I have now adapted to it and like its performance. Cutting speeds are adjustable. It is bigger than the old model and comes with a separate charger. This will be inconvenient for packing when travelling. It was expensive (even at the Black Friday offer price) but all shavers seem expensive these days.

Great Value
Purchased this Philips shaver, as it has a QI charger, and comes with a cleaning Pod. More importantly the quality of it. And it hasn’t disappointed, I get a really close shave from it, run’s extremely quiet, and has a nice solid feel to it. I purchased it at £300 less than Philips Online or other sellers. Yes I would definitely recommend this product.

Philips Premium Shaver Review: Not Worth the Upgrade from 5000 Series
I'll keep this review concise and to the point. Having previously owned both the Braun 9000 series and Philips 5000 series shavers, I purchased this model based on promising reviews suggesting it might be the ultimate shaver.Compared to the Braun 9000, this shaver is noticeably smoother and quieter. It's gentler on the skin while still providing a close, silky-smooth shave. However, it's not Phillips' greatest product to date. When comparing it to the Philips 5000 series, I'd recommend saving your money and opting for the 5000 series instead. You'll get 99% of the performance at a lower price point. The package contents are good overall, but some choices are questionable. The inclusion of a wireless charger without a USB option seems impractical for travel, despite the provided case. Additionally, the trimmer is not built into the shaver, which is a drawback. The shave quality is satisfactory, but not significantly better than the 5000 series, despite claims of more cuts and a closer shave. The build quality is slightly more solid, though lighter, and the digital battery display is a nice touch. However, the overall shave experience and travel kit fall short of expectations.Summary:If I could choose again, I'd stick with the Philips 5000 series shaver, which performs exceptionally well. If needed, you can purchase the cleaning station and pod separately, which are compatible with the 5000 series. The only additional feature in this model is the nose and ear trimmer, which I don't believe justifies the price difference. All things considered, I recommend the Philips 5000 series as the better value option.

Best electric shaver I've ever used.
I was reluctant to spend so much on a shaver, even on the less than half price deal I got from Amazon, but I'm so pleased I bought it. It glides over skin far better than my previous Philips shaver and is really quiet in operation. I usually use it wet. Included accessories are good although the cleaning system seems a bit OTT. A rinse under the tap should suffice in my opinion but the cleaning solution container makes a useful stand to store the shaver upright. Wireless charging is great although the charging pad is a bit on the large size for storing when not in use. Overall, having used it for a week or so, I'm very happy with the shaver.

A really comfortable and close shave.
I’ve had this shaver for some weeks now and am more than pleased with it. Wet or dry shaving is giving perfect results day after day. Simple charging via an induction pad. A long battery life between recharging, and an easy to use cleaning pod.
