Nice powerful clipper for curly haired dog
I really liked this clipper! It's very basic but can handle curly haired dogs. The only drawback was that it only has a powerful one speed, and i wanted a lower speed as well. It comes with everything you need.. guide combs, oil, a replaceable blade and a very nice case! Sadly i sent it back and got the Andis 2 speed. It meets my expectations but i had to purchase a separate case and combs for the new clipper and was not happy about that.

Good quiet clipper
A good quiet clipper. Perfect for clipping bridle paths and in tight areas that are tricky on a horse.Be aware it only has one speed and it's decent for light clipping. It did clip my horses winter coat but you definitely struggle the thicker the coat is because of the low speed. Thankfully shes small and it was just a trace clip.

Not for professional grooming
I've been professional grooming for 17 years now. I typically use Andis products. I have had several of their Clippers. This one was a great price and I wanted a new backup clipper. You cannot argue with the price and the color is great. However to remove the blades you have to pull the Clipper off from the end of the blade. Which is difficult because blade tends to get warm over time. Also you have to use some Force to pull the blade backwards to get it off. I actually cut my finger during the process. Other Clippers have a push button in the back. The button will pop the blade off easily for you. No Force necessary. A push button to release the Clipper blade is standard with all professional clippers. Another major disappointment was the fact that Combs that come with the clipper only attach to a 10 blade. They won't fit a 30 or 40 blade. When you are giving a puppy or rocker cut using a comb... it really needs to be attached to a number 30 or 40 Blade. I attempted to use the included Combs with the 10 blade on a client and it would not cut to the proper length. Once I switched to my regular Clippers using a 40 and a number to Snap-on home it then cut the hair properly. Another bummer would be the Clipper speed. It has a very slow Clipper speed. The faster the Clippers speed the better it cuts the hair. A slow Clipper speed will take more time. The final bummer for me was the length of the cord. It is extremely short. Your outlet needs to be about a foot or two away from the dog you are grooming otherwise forget it. You will need an extension cord. After stretching it out and having a good laugh we pulled out my other Andis Clippers and compared the cord length. My other pair was significantly longer and that's important while professionally grooming. We are walking around the dog or plugging it into the wall and the table might be in the center of the room. Cord length is extremely important. I hate to leave a poor review but in this case I suggest someone spending more money and getting a better pair of Clippers. Like I said earlier I absolutely love the brand and have been using them for years. But this is not for someone who does it professionally. If anything it's a great price for someone who might want to keep a pair of Clippers in the house in case they need to groom their dog at home. I just want to warn other professionals out there to save your money and get something more expensive equality you need for work.

Clipper
I love this clipper. It cuts so good does not heat up and even goes through the Mats there were very bad. I am disappointed that u dont get what the picture looks like. Instead of the purple clipper I thought I was geting it was black. Even the case was not that good was just a black case and I have yo really fight to close my clipper back into it. So I through it away and had to buy a new one were I csn fit the clipper and the blades and combs it came with. So if u want a good clipper this is it. But don't expect to get what the picture looks like. And do buy cooling spray it will keep ur clippers lasting longer.

Do
I am going to give these a 3 star. I purchased for my Mini Doodle that has really thick, soft, fluffy hair that is easily matted. I have tried many different clippers and nothing has worked! Now these did work and did a great job cutting her hair. HOWEVER, the clippers did not even come close to cutting evenly! My poor dogs look very patchy and uneven! I spent close to 2.5 hours trying to make them look even and nothing was working! These are also quite heavy to use for that long of a time!! My wrist was quite tired when I decided to quit!

A game changer!
Holy crap! What a product! I was using a better than average clipper on my dogs (Shih Tzu and Malti-Shi mix) for their trims and they looked good. It was “cordless” but didn’t really clip well cordless. After reviewing a lot of clippers and watching a great groomer on YouTube, I decided to find an affordable Andis. Now this product didn’t have a few things she recommended. She recommended 2-speed. This is 1 speed, which I knew. The one Andis brand she recommended was a little lighter, this one is a little heavy. But it’s a monster. My dogs have HAIR, NOT FUR. This made their hair trims a breeze!Pros:It feels like a real piece of equipment. You know you’re using something sturdy. It’s quieter than the cheap brands from Walmart etc..Cord is thick enough it’s not going to kink up. Cord is also decent length. It’s super cute in purple. 💜Comes with the most used 4 hair length cutting guards. More than enough for most cuts.Cons:It’s heavier than some. If you have carpal tunnel or arthritis I can see this being too heavy for you.It gets HOT if you’re using it for a long time. If you have the guards on it the dog won’t get burned but you’ll feel it getting warm in your hand. Probably time to take a break and let it cool down.Overall for this price point it’s worth it. I wasn’t ready to commit to a $300-$400 model. I’m not a pro groomer, I just do my dogs and a few friends’ dogs. Definitely worth the investment. I use this and the other 2 trimmers I have for the dogs.
