Bought the temperature control separately. Slick, looks good, easy to store and keeps food hot without druing it out. Great for Christmas and large gatherings as well as keeping someone's dinner hot who may be coming home late. Brilliant

I have never loved a product as much as I loved this

The hot plate was warped on arrival. This appears to be a common event since there was actually a warning with the packaging that this might be the case. I followed the instructions and tried to straighten it but only partially successful. Not really happy and would not buy again. However I could not be bothered to repack everything and send it back. Instead, every time it is used I have to straighten it out. I have had other makes in the past and they never suffered this issue - clearly a design fault.

Looks well designed and well made, I would happily use it for buffets serving a crowd. Impressive safety features. Control the temperature by stacking dishes or they can supply a separate temperature control. Great customer service. I think it could find applications in a variety of catering situations.

Kept food piping hot and so easy to use

I should have taken note of previous reviews but as I was ordering a small hotplate I thought it might not suffer in the same way that larger ones had. Firstly, the carton is not a strong enough material to minimise transit damage. There is a small section of polystyrene at each end but just a polythene bag over the rest of it. Even the 3 pin plug did not have the usual prong protection cover. To be fair, I think the hotplate was defective before it was boxed. There were several bubbles in the enamel finish that probably would not have affected its operation but the section in the photo did not seem to have ever seen enamel paint and the steel was showing through. The box proudly shows that the item is British Manufactured. No British manufacturer I have ever worked with would be proud of this item. There was a Q. C. label on the box implying it had been checked. Clearly that person was either asleep on the job or the maker is lying. Avoid this excellent idea, well marketed but very poorly implemented. Even if it was a fraction of the price, it is not worth it.

This is everything you can want in a hotplate! It has the most sophisticated safeguards in place, making this the safest appliance you can buy, it’s a dream to clean and so energy efficient too!You can tell the company has gone to great lengths to make it very elegant and ascetically pleasing, and the superb quality is evident in every way.Undoubtedly the best hotplate money can buy.

This product is good, it looks good, works good. But I wished it had a temperature control, as you can not turn it down from hot to warm. Its very hot and food starts to dry up.Having said that, it is a good quality product.
