Thanks for your question, this unit has a CFM of 830.

Can i use this indoors? Big venue for around 300 people capacity?

This is an outdoor Evaporative Air Cooler unit. We have many indoor options available, check out our cooling guide at http://www.honeywellaircoolers.com/cooling-guide or give us a call at 1-800-474-2147 between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday so we can help. Thanks!

Any reason I couldn’t/shouldn’t use indoors??? For instance, my garage which doubles as my shop?

We use ours outdoor. You can also use it indoors. We have ours connected to a water hose. It also has a feature to pour in water. We are thinking of getting another one for the garage.

Mine is leaking at hose connection. where can i buy a replacement washer? regular hose washers don't work. original has smaller hole and wider rim.

Hi, We're sorry to hear that. Please give us a call at 1-800-474-2147 between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday or send us an email at usinfo@jmatek.com so we can chat through where to purchase a replacement washer. We look forward to hearing from you and making this right. Thank you.
