UltraSource - Chamber Machine Pouches 3 Mil Thickness, 8 x 10 inches, Pack of 1000 Vacuum Chamber Pouches, BPA-Free Pre-Cut Chamber Vacuum Sealer Bags with Tear Notch

I got my first chamber vacuum sealer last week and needed some bags to get things started. One of several reasons I wanted a chamber sealer was for the lower bag cost. I bought 1000 of these 8x10 bags to get me started. When these arrived I did some testing of various items with the chamber sealer and these bags performed flawlessly. I sealed some items with hard edges and had no punctures of the bags (3 mil bags). I think I made about 20 different seals just because I was playing with the sealer and familiarizing myself with it as well. At 4.3 cents per bag, you can't go wrong here. My Vacuum sealer is probably the MOST used accessory item in my kitchen so 1000 bags won't last me as long as you might think. I liked these so well I ordered the 10x13 size today.

Have been using 5 sizes of these pouches frequently with my chamber vacuum sealer for 2.5 months now. There is nothing more to want from this product. Zero imperfections. The bags are also notched for easy opening. I bought a "notcher" specifically for the purpose since that wasn't in the item description, but it wasn't needed. They have held up well to freezing, sous vide and microwave cooking. Once the bag contents is hot enough to produce steam in the microwave, the bag inflates with the steam. Actually a perfect way to know when it is hot. These bags will expand considerably before rupturing.Keep in mind that if you are putting sharp objects (e.g. bones, croutons) under heavy vacuum and they will be handled a lot, you may find the 3 mil to be too fragile. UltraSource will be my brand for pouches whether I use 3, 4, or 5 mil. For sharp items, a paper plate between the sharp item and the bag will generally keep the bag from being punctured.

These was my first order of vacuum chamber pouches for my new chamber vacuum sealer. Ultrasource was recommended in a youtube video that I watched and decided to pickup a bunch of the 8x10 pouches. I was really surprised at the quality of the product. They're really clear and really durable. I'll be ordering more ultrasource pouches in the future!

This is my third order for UltraSource chamber vacuum bags. I am pleased with the value proposition - a good product at a good price.The bags work well for food storage and sous vide cooking. For an event, I sealed 48 beef tenderloins in larger UltraSource bags and cooked them sous vide without any problem.

Nice vacuum chamber bags, have had no issues with sealing or leaks.

These bags are great. These are a good size and are very sturdy.

Had a few bags that broke but seem to do the job very well
