Air Line Hose Connector Fitting Female Quick Release 1/4 BSP Male 2pk FT8

Bought these to connect my nail gun to an air compressor. Like other reviewers mention, they leak air, but a few wraps of PTFE around the thread and tighten with a spanner (not too tight, but more than you can do by hand) and they work perfectly. This is the first time I’ve worked with compressed air, all my connections leaked air until I used PTFE tape, so maybe that is just normal and not specific to these connectors.

I have bought a number of these now and whilst some appear to work fine a number have also leaked air too, having used ptf tape and tightened accordingly nothing appears to remedy the problem. So in conclusion I would say you get what you pay for.

Found these to be of poor quality I would not purchase again
