I'm 5'4", skinny, and I often find chains like this to have too many links to hang properly on me. Usually, they hang way too low. Since I make jewelry, I have everything that I need to remove links. I just don't like to have to modify everything that I buy.This chain is the perfect length that I can clip it in front and clip it in back and it hangs at the perfect heights on me. None of the layers come anywhere near my knees, which is what I was looking for!The shorter chains with the hanging moons are a bonus and super cute.All the links are uniform and closed well. No weird bits of metal from uneven clamping when putting them together. The little clips will hook on belt loops or, since I mostly wear elastic waisted joggers, on my waistband. They hold in place well.This is lightweight enough that it doesn't pull my waistband down, but heavy enough to hold itself in place. It looks really great on and is very well made. I plan to try to find more varieties of this type of chain, or just to buy more of this one and modify it with charms myself, as it's so hard for me to find a waist chain that's a decent length for someone my size.

This isn’t a bad example of a pants chain. It’s simple, yet offers different style chains to add interest. It’s lightweight so I don’t expect it to hold out long if it gets caught on something, but it should last through many wearings if you’re careful. The clasps close snugly and appear to hold well if attached to a belt loop. The keyrings can be opened so you could add or subtract chains as you like. Unfortunately mine came with a couple of the chains twisted around and I was able to pry open the rings with needle-nose pliers to fix them. One thing to be aware of is the length of the chains. The photos show measurements in centimeters which makes them seem longer than they are. I intended to use this item as an accent on a jacket and it’s too short. Also the crescent moons are very small—the size of dimes and they don’t show up as much as I would have liked so I’ll probably replace them with something that makes more of a statement. Big drop earrings work great for this. Especially when you’ve lost one and you’re wondering what to do with straggler.

I am so happy with this chain! It clips onto any pair of pants and adds a little extra flair. I wear a women's US 16-20 depending on the cut and this looks good and easily fits onto every pair of pants I've tried it with. I've worn it with the moon pendants hanging toward the front and toward the back and it looks nice both ways. It doesn't tangle much at all, and I fully expected it to look like a mess after five minutes of wear so I'm happy! It is a bit noisy when moving around and feels heavy to wear if you aren't used to wearing a chain, but I love it and am really happy with it.

This chain is a cute way to add some flair to any outfit. The crescent moon detail is nice. I prefer the simple chain styles with some variance between them. I do wish the inner chain was slightly longer so it could fit more widely on a bigger body. That being said, it works well and looks good when clipped to the front or side. It can work for any size. Just be aware that the coverage isn't the widest and you might want to layer up or style with a longer chain depending on the look you are going for.

Love this trouser chain! Wore it today on my Torrid plaid jeans which are my favorite. Since this trouser chain has lobster clasps on both sides it’s easy to clip on the loops of your pants. The moon pendants charms are totally cute and I’m guessing you can definitely add to it if you want to. Lastly, you can wear it as a chain as well which adds versatility! I can see me using this with all my goth looks. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
