A company truck has been through the wringer and the stock hinges were bent and would cause the tailgate to lock up and not fold down. This solved this problems and was easy to install.A word of warning, these are not tolerance parts and the fit is a bit sloppy. An improvement, no doubt, but there is definitely wiggle room.

My husband had to replace old hinges and bolts on his 2001 Chevrolet Sierra truck. These were the right fit for his tailgate.A low price and fit well. Seem sturdy!!

These fit and worked perfectly on my 2004 Silverado. I especially like that the hinges are solid metal rather than a hollow shell. This may not make them better, but it instills confidence in me that they will not ever warp out of shape again. Removing the old ones and installing the new ones was a piece of cake. I can't think of anything negative to say about these replacement hinges.

The product was exact replacement for my 04 silverado. Bolts lined up perfect. Has left and right on them can't put on wrong side . Believe me if i can put them on anybody can.

Fit same, just be careful removing old ones. Broke the backing and had to take the taillight out to hold backing piece in place to remove stubborn old bolt. New hardware was also included.
