Pretty good
I bought this 28L version to replace a slightly smaller safe. This safe is well made for a domestic version and in the box you get robust wall/floor fittings and two emergency keys plus a clear user guide.Inside the safe there's a removable shelf and felt lining - this 28L version easily takes an A4/foolscap folder with room for passports etc. too. You do need 4AA cells which aren't supplied which are easily fitted and setting the combination is easy. Opening and closing the safe is quite straightforward and the emergency keys are a handy backup. If I had a minor gripe the keys could be a bit larger for my 92 year old Dad but they're adequate.Overall, another example of good quality/value from the Amazon Basics range and ideal for an average home to keep documents etc. secure.

Great
Just right for passports ,money etc. Easily to set up and it bolts to the wall / floor too. I've not got round to fixing to wall but I will be.

A Fine Safe
I haven't secured this, it just sits atop a cabinet. It's quite spacious for the price and I have enough room for my needs. I use the keys and have no batteries in it, because I cannot turn off the beeping when you press a button entering the pin, and I have a nosy neighbor below who listens to everything I do and dont want him knowing I have anything I value enough to put in a safe, which is what I subtracted a star for. Otherwise it is great, though I can't comment on ease or durability of securing it with the bolts

Great basic safe
Great for the money!Good size, easy to use and comes with everything you need to secure it to a wall. Will do the job as long as it's bolted to an external/solid wall with easy to program keypad.Only concern is how well the keypad holds up over time after entering the same code over and over but will see. Also nice having the backup keys and a hint for everyone loosing them if you get the right sized picture hook you can hide them behind a special picture (for me it's our wedding day) so you'll never forget!

Good value for money.
I bought this Amazon basics safe to replace my previous save to which the keys were missing and the batteries flat. It’s as well made as any I’ve seen in its price range and even has a wee internal removable shelf. I’ve seen no end of YouTube clips showing folks bouncing this type of save on a mattress to unlock the door. Quite frankly if I was a burglar and came across a small safe not fastened down, I wouldn’t be bouncing it up and down trying to open it I’d just take it with me. I’ve also seen folks picking the lock but with a bit of imagination when securing the safe you can stop that from happening to yours. I have mine bolted to a solid wall as was my last one which I needed to open with an angle grinder. A determined professional thief would no doubt open this type of safe without too much trouble, but for what it costs and provided it’s bolted down. this safe will add a degree of security for any valuables in your home.

Good safe
Nice safe to keep your valuables and passports etc as enough space inside as got flexi partition ( you can take it out if not required in case need to put bigger camera etc ). The only reason not given 5 star rating is the key cover as that is sometimes hard to flick to insert key and not sure if it’s me or with others too battery run out quickly ( so I stopped using with battery in it ) but otherwise very sturdy and well made and looks stylish so tick those boxes and serves the purpose right for which I got it.

It looks ok so that's a start...
I take one star away because the knob you use to open it is pretty poor quality.Did I need a safe - no.Is £50 overpriced - probably but I pay over 3 months so happy with that.Open the door - put the batteries in. Press 0 twice, then press the resetbutton next to the batteries - put in the code you want between 3 and 8 digits then press the hash key next to the number 9.You should be all set to go. Easy, and I find everything hard.
