OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES for Moto Z2 Play - Retail Packaging - PLUM WAY (PLUM HAZE/NIGHT PURPLE)

My dad is ROUGH on phones. I'm talking disgustingly dirty and dusty, covered in paint, dropped from ladders. This case is surviving him and keeping his phone protecte.

Fits the phone very well, offers uncompromising protection and is easy to take off and put back on, just don't separate the inner lining and the shell completely, otherwise it's fussier. The on/off and volume buttons require a firm press, I guess that's intended.If you use mods often, the Adamite bumper would be the case to get. It also protects the phone well, but if you want uncompromising protection, get the Otterbox (or get both, they're easy to swap. I did, heck, the phone is so cheap now that you might as well).

After trying at least a dozen cheaper cases, I decided invest in a better quality case. I researched many and read hundreds of reviews. Despite many negative reviews of this case I decided to try it. I'm very happy with the quality and durability. It fits perfectly, is raised enough to protect the screen and camera but is not bulky. The Moto z2 play is a fairly large phone as it is so finding a case that doesn't make it cumbersome is important. It's not as slim as some others Ive tried but still not ridiculously big. The power button is a little hard to press but not terrible at all. The only thing I don't like (hence the 4 stars) is the cover over the charging port. It's next to impossible to open. I fixed that by cutting off the rubber part that covers it and it's fine. It also does not show fingerprints/ dirt which is something I require in a phone case. I also love the purple color! I would recommend this case, if your thinking about trying it, I don't think you will be disappointed. I'm glad I spent the extra money.

I got this for my friend that had received a new phone and I trusted it with keeping it from breaking. Thankfully, he doesn't drop his phone too often but when he has the phone case has not broken or cracked yet and he has had it for almost a year. It feels sturdy and the only frustrating part is that the rubber parts do not fit correctly into the ports.

This phone cover is well-designed to protect the phone. I like that it is thick, easy to grip, and is beveled in all of the right places. I especially like that the cut-out for the camera lens is deep enough to keep the lens protected when the phone is dropped. This cover performs exactly as I hoped it would. A very minor issue is that, because of the thickness of the covers over the buttons, sometimes it takes a few seconds to press the "on" button hard enough for it to actually come on.

Thin but durable. Works good as a stand alone product but I hate, and I mean hate, that it covers the factory side buttons. IMO it make it very difficult to press the buttons.I VERY carefully cut away material, like three times, till I got it cut back to where I wanted it.Super happy.Not detracting stars as I knew this going in and nobody makes a case that satisfies my odd needs.

I have a hard time believing this cover was actually designed for the Moto Z2 Play. The hard shell does not fit smoothly across the bottom over the rubber cover and the buttons are not very functional. I have to use my fingernail and press incredibly hard to get any response from the buttons. I slipped a thin piece of cut card stock between the rubber cover and my phone over the voulume buttons and that helped a little, but now the rubber cover has a bit of a bulge there. Again, this must have been engineered for another model phone but was "close enough" so they sold it as usable for the Moto Z2 Play . The rubber covers over the ports are very stiff and hard to open and I think could have been made with more of a notch or something in the rubber to make it easier to open these covers. You don't want to drive while you're trying to plug a headset or power cord into this phone or adjust the volume. You're likely to wreck your car wrestling with this cover.

Bought this case approx. 10 months ago, and I am very hard on my phones. This has held up very well, and protected my phone from a huge amount of drops!

Otterbox produces solid cases that sturdy and reliable. I got exactly what I expected from this case.The case has a snug fit and solid build quality. It doesnt show much wear and tear over time which is important to me.The only negative I would say is that the power button is a bit stiff but not enough to mark it down.I would highly recommend.

It protects your phone reasonably, its has got a good grip. Phone does not slip through the pockets and hands.Best part is this is impact resistant, which is good.
