Infinitely better than any glass french press I've used. Not to mention the value proposition with this being such a fair price, I literally bought 2 to give one to a family member.All of the metal work like welds, laser etching branding and laser etched indicator on the top of the lid to show where lid opens... It's all very thought out and made with care. Any other product would have just printed on something on top of the metal work and it would have just scraped off in like 10 uses. This thing feels like a tank and would last for years and years. Even the spout where you pour the coffee has been designed in such a way that the way it pours is intentionally smooth and doesn't "stick" to the french press and make a mess. I honestly think this might be the best valued purchase I've made on Amazon in the history of using it. It's honestly that surprising. This thing feels like it could be easily $70 dollars, but it's actually at a fair price.The only couple minor complaints I have, have to do with the screen mesh filter and the metal "spring" coiled around one of the assembly plates. I would love to see the inside circle mesh where a hole has been punched out to assemble the other parts on top of the screen, to have a washer/ring that lines the inside of that mesh hole punch. It has some slight fraying to it that I could see slowly deteriorating over time and it would also make it more comfortable with washing it without fear of one of the metal strands stabbing you in the finger. The other complaint is a little more of an issue with how the metal spring is assembled that lines one of the assembly plates. On my product, the end of the spring had just a sharp end sticking out, so when pushing the french press down, it would scrape against the side of the walls inside the french press. I ended up just taking a pair of pliers and bending the end part of the spring sticking out and pulled it inwards so it wasn't facing the wall of the cup. Other than that though, pretty much perfect product. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to foam milk by pushing the press up and down a few times, and also for people who want to make a great cup of coffee.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to buy it because, like many people, I’m used to glass presses and thought it was necessary to see inside. However, once I received it and used it for the first time, I realized it’s not necessary at all (the glass) so if you’re hesitating to choose this French press because it’s not made of glass, trust me — it won’t be a problem at all and you’ll enjoy it just as much.It works really well, feels very high-quality, and retains heat much better than a glass one. The best part is the option to close the spout — this helps keep the coffee hot for longer and also prevents dust or insects from getting inside.It even comes with a replacement part and feels very sturdy overall. When you pour hot water the cylindrical body of the pitcher is very hot. While steam is released near the spout it does a pretty good job at steeping the tea. I really like that everything is stainless steel so you can wash it with soap or not worry about the temperature of the water. I have used loose leaf tea so far and finely ground coffee. The double mesh strainers let some debris get in but it’s no trouble straining it. Overall it’s a good French press and I would recommend.
