As others have said, this cap doesn't get insanely hot to the temperatures that salon and other professional grade steam/heat caps and hooded dryers do, but because of that it feels safe to me. It's also a plus because my ears never feel like they're burning, which was always the worse part of sitting under a hooded dryer for me. I spritz my hair with oil and apply light layers of conditioner and oil and then put the cap on. I usually use the cap for at least half an hour, and sometimes I do it in a few bursts of 10/20 mins if I'm busy/can't sit still. I've been using it for about two months, at least twice a month and I can't say for sure whether it's improves my hair or not, as I haven't been paying too much attention to my hair lately, but my hair does seem more moisturised and most noticeably, my curls haven't been as frizzy and tangled as usual. Instead they're clumping together, even after days of being in the same flat twists. This and a tangle teezer are the only two new elements to my regiment so either one or both of them gets the praise. For context, my hair is a mix of 3s and 4s

I have been using this for a month to deep-condition my hair every week using rice and onion water. I followed Debbie William's method on YouTube and after spraying my hair with the solution I place a plastic cap on my head then use the heat cap for one hour while watching TV or doing something else. After that I co-wash my hair then moisturise and seal using the LOC (liquid-oil-cream) method. It has definitely helped strengthen my hair and increase growth - so I highly recommend it, what ever deep conditioner you use. For me the home-made ones work better than commercial products. This includes Chebe (made as a tea instead of the mask), Fenugreek, coffee - all are fantastic for high-porosity natural hair.

My mum and I to use to use a conditioning cap some years ago when we had relaxed hair but since going natural I thought this might be something to try to deep condition my hair. I have used various other methods but was looking for something that would give me that salon feeling and I wasn't disappointed. As my hair can get a little dry, this was an effective and efficient way of getting some much needed moisture in my hair. After washing, I just apply some deep conditioning treatment, conditioner or hair oil (my own concoction) and cover my hair with a shower cap and then place the conditioning cap on my head. You have 3 different heat settings, I tried all three and found that the third setting is greater for my long, thick, coarse hair. You can feel a gentle heat, which is quite pleasant and once I'm done, it left my hair feeling very soft. It is light, portable and can be easily stored away in its box or a draw. It's now part of my hair and beauty routine. Love it and it loves my hair. I recently purchased this product and so far I am satisfied with it. The heat is sufficient enough to condition my hair and I have A LOT of hair. It really is a good quality product and for the price you can't go wrong. Of course people are different so for some individuals the heat might not be enough when on the highest setting or might even be too hot for others... Overall in my opinion I feel that this product has been one of my best purchases and has saved me a lot of money and trips to the hairdressers.

Good. Warm enough and does not hurt the ear like salon one does

This is an amazing product, it really treated my hair, as it says the hair was soft and well conditioned. The heat settings are perfect and it was just the right temperature.However, it would be great if it came with a bag to store it in after use.

I bought it a month or so ago for 4c relaxed hair and I'm really impressed. It heat up quickly and the number 3 setting is really warm, great for oil and moisturing treatments. Love it
