I think every woman should have one of these on them. I feel safer with this! Carry it on my purse at all times. Gave my daughter one of these.

This product certainly lives up to its name. It's easy to use, LOUD and convenient. I now carry it with me at all times. The only hesitation I had in the beginning was that it might go off unexpectedly when I reach for my car keys since it's on the same chain, but I have since learned that you actually have to pull the clasp off by hand. No problems here! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTEDWarning: the first time you test this out, make sure you're ready to put the ring clasp right back in place. I dropped the top piece on the floor, startled by the intensity of the alarm and scared everyone in the house. Even my cats, who don't move very fast unless it's feeding time, jumped and ran for cover. I finally located them - 2 on top of the refrigerator & 1 crouched under the covers on the bed.

Pin is top half of item, you pull it apart essentially to make IT sound and flash , But...the top gets lost too easily and you can't shut iT off any other way except to put the pin back in it, or break it! Also, it needs hearing aid batteries...CR 2032 not AAA like are easily found in any store. Likely will buy a few for some lady friends but these are very light in weight and the pins pull out too easily....then too easy to drop and lose it, and IT will not stop sounding loudly until battery fails, maybe 8 ?? hours or Later, or you throw it in the trash behind some old building or smash it with a hammer or something.

Good and loud! Bought for my daughter to keep on her keychain. Thanks the Good Lord she hasn’t had to use it yet for scaring people away, but has messed with it here and there and could hear through the house.

This alarm is really loud. Guaranteed to attract attention. It also has a flashing light when the alarm is activated.The device offers a little bit of resistance when you pull the tab to activate the alarm. I think this is great because it keeps it from accidentally deploying.The alarm also comes with a small carabiner so you can hook it to your keys or the strap of your bag.

UPDATE!!!The seller was gracious enough to send me another one. This second one was a nice hot pink number which I loved. It was a little louder this time. I took it to school and tried it in the school parking lot. It got the attention of the front desk staff so YAY! Additionally, the strobe light worked this time. I still think my whistle is louder but this is a good alternative and a nice gift especially for young teen girls like myself. An additional 2 stars added to rating which gives a total of 3 stars.*********I purchased the mint-green.I do not believe that this will serve the purpose it was purchased for. I did not think it was loud enough to be a safety device. For context, my mom is a fitful sleeper and will wake up if leaves touches her window. I stood outside her window and pulled the top off and she did not wake up. I then used my simple whistle and she woke up. In essence, a whistle made more sense as an alert mechanism. The strobe light did not flash, instead it was a solidly but dimly lit up during the alarm.I do not know if it is just this particular item or the brand as a whole but it was a little disappointing.On the plus side, it is lightweight and inconspicuous. In terms of ease of use, the top came off easily enough and also went back in just as easily. I worry if it will remain tight enough to not spontaneously pop-off and go off but that remains to be seen.OVERALL:Not the best option for safety alarm....

I bought this product as a gift to a friend. It makes for a great safety measure.

Cost more normally. Suggested good idea to have here.Glad my review isn't because I used in this case.Bought more than one.Light weight enough to attach and have with.

They are very loud I nor have any of my family members had to use them I bought four of them

Easy to use

Didn’t work. It only made a weird clicking sound. Tried to change the battery but no directions and battery placement is under the control board, so not easily accessible. Worried to take the screws out to change the battery and wreck it, even though it’s already not working. Poorly made and non functioning upon receiving. It was a Christmas gift for our daughter.
