First let me tell you the part I screwed up, so that hopefully you can avoid the same mistake. When I was constructing the rear wheel I was trying to do it in my hands, not on a flat surface. That was a mistake. I've included a photo with the wheel in two pieces and the 12 spoke things sticking up out of half. This is how you want to assemble the wheel, flat on a table so that the spoke things can't protrude out past the bottom.I had the spoke things sticking out past the edge of the wheel and then tried to press them in, it didn't work and now the wheel doesn't stay pressed together. Having said that, everything else went pretty smoothly, and I'm pretty sure I just misunderstood the directions.Ok, now that you know how to avoid my mistake let's get on to the review:I was surprised to see how many moving parts the motorcycle has, a lot of them are the system of gears that move the pistons up and down when the rear wheel is moving. It was nice that they included a little piece of wax to put on the wood to reduce friction, and I think they included a little piece of sandpaper but I didn't end up using it. The use of rubber bands to give the wheels grip, to power the rear wheel, and to give the front forks springing action is all pretty clever.I thought it was cool that it's made in Poland, it's so hard to find things that aren't made in China. It's a bit tedious cutting around all the pieces with a hobby knife so that they don't break when they are pressed out, but nothing terrible. The box that the kit comes in is actually a pretty cool wood box that has little feet that can be installed and a really nice magnetically secured lid. The box is designed to be a display stand once you're done building it.

This was such a cool little wooden puzzle! Some pieces were a bit difficult to put together but overall it wasn't too bad!

It’s a beautiful kit, but the design is flawed. Step 9 on page 21 says to pull apart the rear arms to install the rear wheel. I tried to and it broke off totally. I included a pic where it broke. I had to use gorilla glue. Also it uses one rubber band as the motor, this kit isn’t worth 80 dollars. I also had to glue the rear wheel together. None of the parts on this kit fit tight at all. The wooden box it came in was nice though. Update- I finished the model and realized there was a sheet of spare parts so I think they know things break during assembly. The motorcycle looks really nice too. The one rubber band design works as intended.

This was fun and easy to put together and I love the final product very nice to pit on display.

Don’t make any mistakes! Even with the included tool, popping out one piece broke/splintered another and the dominoes began to fall!

Excellent High quality product. Easy to fabricate.

Der 3D Holzmodellsatz von Wooden besteht aus insgesamt 168 Teilen. Dieses Holzmotorrad Bauset ist hochqualitativ verarbeitet. Im Lieferumfang sind fünf Holzplatten, drei kleine und drei große Gummis, eine ausführliche Anleitung und eine Holzkiste, die man später als Ausstellungsständer für das fertig gebaute Motorrad verwenden kann. Das tolle bei den Holzbausätzen von Wooden ist, dass man weder Klebstoff noch Werkzeug benötigt. Das Einzige, was man haben sollte, ist Fingerfertigkeit und Zeit. Die in Europa hergestellten Holzplatten sind aus mehreren Schichten damit die Teile nicht zu leicht brechen und die Teile sind alle präzise mit einem Laser vorgeschnitten und müssen nur noch aus der Platten entfernt werden. Für den Aufbau habe ich knapp drei Stunden gebraucht. Das Motorrad steht stabil und dank der verwendeten Gummis lässt sich der Lenker und die Kolben bewegen. Dank des gummibandbetriebenen Motors fährt das Motorrad über eine Distanz von bis zu einem Meter. Der Aufbau hat mir großen Spaß gemacht. Auch als Geschenk ideal.

Ob es sich jetzt hier um ein 3D Puzzle oder ein Modellbaumotorbike handelt, mag ich nicht beurteilen, aber auf jeden Fall wirkt alles sehr hochwertig und das Ergebnis sieht extrem cool aus und ist auch in einer Vitrine ein Blickfang. Die Holzteile sind extrem präzise geformt und die Kanten sind dank Laserschnitttechnik gleichzeitig geflammt. Hier stehen keine Holzfasern oder Splitter hervor. Zusätzlich sind sie passend für ein Motorbike bemalt. Für den Zusammenbau benötigt man keinen Kleber. Jedoch ist ein Cuttermesser für die kleinen Haltestege auf den Teilebögen notwendig. Hat man die Teile gelöst, wird alles gesteckt. Um es kurz zu machen, die Detailvielfalt am Ende ist Wahnsinn. Der Hammer ist aber die Mechanik, einschließlich aufziehbaren bzw. per Gummiband spannbaren Antrieb.
