MY WAY TO MAKING FRIENDS by Elizabeth Cole & Illustrated by Tatyana Kim (A Children's Picture Book)
This is a very cute book for any child who has a difficult time making friends and/or keeping them. The story follows a young girl named Melissa who has these very same issues. Then she has a dream that takes her to a tropical jungle where all the amazing animals show her some encouraging ways to make friends with ease...As a shy child who suffered with self-esteem issues I wish I'd had a book like this when I was a kid. It was full of positive messages and just very encouraging overall. Besides that the illustrations were vibrant and fun and added that extra something to this story that will no doubt have little ones eager to see what happens next 😊

Fun read and good ideas for children on making friends
I have read a few of Elizabeth Cole’s books, so I was pretty sure that this would be another great children’s book.Melissa is shy and doesn’t play with the other kids because of her shyness. She tells herself she doesn’t need friends, but, of course, she’s fooling herself. When she goes to sleep, she dreams about all kinds of different animals who are friends. They give her examples of how to approach others to start a conversation and then perhaps play with them. The story is told in rhymes and the illustrations are cute and colorful. It encourages children to use their imaginations as well as teaching them ways to make friends.

wonderful book about friendship!
I loved reading this wonderful rhyming story about friendship to my son. He is 4 and love making new friends. This story can help a shy kid to find many different ways of making friends. The story is about a little girl by name Melissa who at first has hard time making new friends until she travels to magic land of friendship in her dream and learns how to make friends! Great activity bonus in the end the book make this story not only entertaining but also useful! Illustrations are beautiful as well!

Super cute read on making friends.
If you have a child that has issues making friends, or even keeping friends, then you need to add this book to your cart! Seriously, go ahead and add it.Elizabeth keep the story fun with the rhyming while also showing the reader how to make friends. She also shows great examples of how to respond when a friend wins and you don’t. Great read!!

A book for every classroom or home library!
This is a great book that help children learn to make new friends especially those who are typically shy. This book is part of a great series of books that teaches children about social emotional health. I highly recommend this book for all little readers.

heartwarming
Kids are all different. Some find it naturally east to make friends; others may have a hard time. This book breaks it down wonderfully and can surely help shy kids! We especially love the ending, and the idea of collecting stars. Recommended!⭐️

The story is fine
But the rhyming is alittle stretching. Take note this is a Amazon produced book so maybe not as extensively reviewed/edited? But for the overall msg it was fine.

Great Book
This booked rhymed and it sounded really nice. I am a child and even though I’m already good at making friends, these methods helped me create 4 more friends. Also, the pictures are great.

Overall disappointed
I bought this as was recommended it by someone for my daughter.Firstly, when I opened the parcel I couldn't help but be really disappointed with the quality of the book itself. It's really underwhelming. Not much better in paper quality than a Macdonald's book, just slightly bigger. Very floppy and thin. My daughter would ruin this easily without supervision. So I thought maybe the price is reflected in the story quality instead perhaps but I was wrong. We found it really convoluted and drawn out. It had pages where sentences were desperate in their rhyming to the point they didn't really make sense on a basic level for a young child to comprehend and could have just been cut out entirely to make it a nicer, more basic version of itself.I liked the idea behind the story but it is badly written making the morals and ideas hard to follow.I honestly wouldn't bother wasting your money as I have.I was really excited too to find this range of books with valuable life lessons in them but now I shan't waste my money on them and I'll have to try find better so really disappointed and underwhelmed.

A refreshing read
I enjoyed the poetic style of this amazing book. It teaches the way we can strike a simple yet amazing conversation if we are not sure how to start. Being an introvert myself, I wish I had read this in my childhood years...This book is a great read for kids, who get to appreciate poetry as well as learn a few important lessons, while enjoying the beautiful illustrations. Highly recommended.
