Manifold Catalytic Converter Replacement for 2011-2017 Hyundai Accent 2012-2017 Veloster 2012-2016 Kia Soul 2012-2017 Rio 674-891

I needed a relatively cheap part to replace my 1.6L 2015 Kia Soul's failing catalytic converter, given that my car got to a point where it wouldn't accelerate past walking speed. I *had* hoped to perform the repair myself, but as this cat converter's built into the exhaust manifold, that ended up being a lost cause. The tricky part of buying your own part without having the tools to do the repair yourself is finding a mechanic that will install parts that you supply: some service centers straight-up won't do it. So be sure and have all your ducks in a row regarding installation before you buy.That said, the car's running quite well now that this is installed, engine light's off—didn't even need to replace the O2 sensors.

Part went bad less then 3 months after purchase. I’m unable to return or exchange for a different one. Now my only option is to buy another part or spend $1,500 at a shop to get it replaced. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So same trouble code came back after only about 150 miles. No fitment issues but I wish it gave me a year at least.

Fit perfect

The heat shield on the manifold have to have different bolts sourced as they were incorrectly sized. Other than that everything is working as intended. Great Replacement.
