We purchased the Wildroad Roof Rack Cargo Basket for our 2024 RAV4 Adventure Series. It was very easy to install, is well made, and was packaged exceptionally well. I also think it looks great on the RAV too! We had read some reviews about noise, however we didn't really notice anything until we hit about 85mph, and even then, it wasn't very noticeable. I DID notice noise when we were traveling through extremely windy areas, however, we hear that on the roof racks on our big trucks too when it is windy. It is what it is. This roof rack will allow us to easily carry fuel, chairs, anything we can ratchet down when we go camping or overlanding!! We love it.

This was extremely easy to build. Took it on a road trip from Dallas to Destin Florida. I did have about 90-100 pounds of luggage and not a single issue.When riding with nothing on the basket you will hear a slight whistle but that is normal on any roof baskets. Overall it looks great and will do the job. I strongly recommend. Worked well for my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Latitude

We’re quite pleased with this product combo so far. Tested it out on our first camp trip this weekend on our 2020 4Runner SR5 Premium and it worked great! The installation was not too difficult, although I will say that as far as the bolt options go, we’d prefer the option to have the bolt end facing down, but it was extremely difficult to install that way. So we went with the other option to have them facing up, but were concerned about the rough bolt end tearing the bag or anything else we put up there, so I bought some rubber screw covers and put on them which appear to have stayed on with our recent trip. We also sprayed the basket with Rustoleum just to be sure to withstand rain/rust, as the sealant provided was too cumbersome to apply to all the joints, etc. The bag is great! Kept everything dry as we had some rain on this trip. Having 6 ties is helpful, too, though the smaller ones are more tedious/tiresome to tighten. The only other suggestion is to make a slightly larger bag for storing the cargo bag when not in use, as it’s pretty much impossible to fit it back into that after it’s been used. The box it was all shipped in was torn quite a bit, also, exposed some parts, but thankfully no bad damage or missing pieces. Overall, though, we’re quite pleased.Didn’t notice any noise, either.

This was purchased to hold my 200watt solar panel. I have an Odyssey and was having difficulty figuring out the most secure way to attach my panel to the roof of the van. Saw this last minute and decided to give it a try. There are so many things to consider when installing anything on the roof of a vehicle. My racks are fixed and do not have a channel. The space between the rails also narrows toward the back of the van. I was able to put the basket together in about 20 minutes and applied the sealant. At first, I thought the clamps were not going to line up right with my fixed, non adjustable racks. But I went ahead and clamped it on loosely at first then tightened down after they were all on and it fit perfectly. Super stoked! The panel, which fit perfectly inside the basket and between the claps, was attached to the basket with U clamps I purchased separately. It’s all on securely and will be simple to take down when necessary. I feel this basket is a great deal for the price and offers a variety of ways to clamp on to racks. So, it likely works on many vehicles. Once tightened up it feels very secure. I like that it came with the necessary hardware and tools. Seems to be good quality and worth the extra effort to seal and paint with some Rustoleum. It’s definitely worth a try. Great solution for me.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this rack to carry more during our camping trips. It's mounted on top to carry all the bulky things like sleeping bags, cots, tent, etc.Assembly was pretty straight forward. You really don't need the instructions but there is a Youtube video to walk you through it if necessaryPro: Plenty of room. It's a very large rack. Covers almost the entire roof of my MDX.Con: the joints look very weak. Since this carrier needs to be assembled from various pieces, they provide a small tube to cover the connections. That tube doesn't really do much more than cover the connections. I can easily rock in around so it seems to provide no additional support. I've uploaded a video to show you. I think every other rack is similar if you need to assemble it.Overall: Maybe get a smaller single unit rack that doesn't need to be assembled. I don't know how well this will hold up in the long term.

Update to the previous review: to eliminate the wind noise, used the anti-rust sealant to seal all the holes around the welds and the joints between pieces before mounting to vehicle. Also use some 1/4” foam weatherstripping to isolate the front wind deflector from the main frame. This will eliminate any vibration noise. After doing these things the wind noise is completely gone.The rack is well built and heavy duty. The product was packaged very well. Spent about 5 minutes cutting off all the zip ties. Purchased the optional cargo net and tie downs and was surprised to find a carry bag with them. Nice fit on the roof, just need to watch out for the “shark fin” antennae on the back of the roof. I would definitely recommend.

This rack went together very easily. There were no bent pieces which didn't fit as you see with many similar items. Light enough for one person, but sturdy enough to hold a good amount.Communication with seller is fantastic! They followed up to see if I was happy with the product and were very professional.

Love the quality, worth the price, but I already see some rust, mind you I’ve only had it for about a month now. Love the net that comes included, also love how your able to adjust the size of it. Fit perfectly for my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder
