These French crepe cookies are so light, airy and delicious! At first I thought that they were not sweet enough. American cookies are so full of sugar that I was expecting that same type of flavor profile in these. But honestly, after a few bites, I instantly came to appreciate the subtle, sweet, buttery flavor of these cookies. They are exquisite with a nice afternoon tea or even a late morning cup of coffee. And believe me, I have tried and enjoyed them both of these ways! ;)Plus, as an added bonus, you get two boxes for under ten dollars. Such a great deal all around. On top of being delivered to a neighbor's home (recognized the front door in the delivery photo), every cookies was broken. The crumbs that remained were tasty. Don't buy these from Amazon.

Just what I needed for my French style bakingWorth my money

Cookies taste great but came broken.

My Gavottes Crepe Dentelle Cookies came pretty quickly straight from Gavottes. They were part of a very rare sale. They are very tasty and deliciously light on the belly for those watching their weight, yet want something as a treat/desert. (Just eat a portion of the serving size. It should curb your craving after 2 of the small individually wrapped packages.).The bad thing is, being super wafer thing, they don't travel well and tend to be fairly broken up to some extent. That said, they are individually wrapped and the crumbs are typically contained withing each wrapper. So it all eats perfectly fine. Just open them carefully and accordingly, you should be good to go.This review is straight for the original/regular Gavottes Crepe Dentelle Cookies. I had the Hazelnut ones and they were really awesome. They are also a but sturdier because they seemed to be filled and thus a bit more dense. I believe I had a chocolate one as well over a year ago (bought at World Market [same as my first Hazelnut ones] and they were also great).

Love these, they are absolutely delicious. I am confused and put off by the price discrepancy.
