Perfect backing for bookcase
I used this on the backer piece of four IKEA bookcases I was assembling. Before I installed the backer pieces in the bookcase, I put the wallpaper on them. I did need two strips for the width (about 36” wide). That created about 8” of waste wallpaper to get the pattern to line up correctly, which is really not bad. Sometimes I needed to pull it back up a bit to straighten it, and didn’t have a problem with it resticking again or pulling off any of the finish of the bookcase. I found that the easiest way at to apply it was to roughly measure it out (maybe 2” of overhang on either end) and pull the paper backing up several inches on one end. Then start applying that exposed section, using a flat tool to smooth it so you don’t have any wrinkles or air bubbles (I used a wide putty plastic knife). A credit card would work fine, or something similar. As I got the first section set, I’d slowly pull the paper backing up more from the back of the wallpaper. Then smooth. Repeat until all done. Then I used a utility knife to trim all the edges clean. This paper is pretty thin, so it would show any texture under the wallpaper. I also did put several holes in it accidentally (I was working on the floor and my dog ran over it -hello claw marks). Some of these I was able to pull the scrunched up wallpaper straight and smooth it out, and you couldn’t tell there had been a problem. On the really bad part, I cut a new piece to match the damaged one and put it right over top of the damaged section. Smoothed it out and you can’t see the lines of the new piece at all.If I was applying this to a textured wall, instead of using a putty knife to smooth it, I think I would use a dry drywall sponge (or car detailing sponge). That would follow the contour of the wall better, giving you a better finish. If I change my opinion about this product, I’ll update my review.

Design doesn't match up, rolls don't match colors
It looks great on the wall, but like someone said already the design doesn't match up. I can't believe more people haven't complained about it. We bought 3 rolls at the same time, when we got to the 3rd roll it was a darker color and glossy, instead of matching the lighter color and matte finish. Of course, it was the 25% of the wall that won't match. So we are kinda screwed. We've bought a lot of peel and stick wallpaper, this is the first time the quality has been this poor.

Paper is easy to position
Paper is pretty, but it is thin and had creases in it. I used it to line a cabinet I refinished. I can’t imagine using it as wallpaper due to its being so thin. It was easy to use and reposition.

Bought more to finish
Tore a little when trying to cut it at the top but we plan to paint the trimming so it’s fine
