Made in the USA was key! And the pole seems like great quality as is the flag. And the company sends how to reach them if there are any issues. So far, this flag is perfect! Awesome deal for the price.

So I just got this and put it out and can’t speak to how long it will last since it is still new. That said, since I put it out, we’ve had multiple severe thunderstorms with heavy wind and rain that uprooted trees in the neighborhood, including a couple of doors down from me, and this flag is still out and looking brand new. Some of the reviews mentioned the flag is of cheap material. Yes, it feels like plastic. Yet, it withstood really bad weather and looks great. I’ve also noticed, due to it being lightweight and “plastic-like”, it doesn’t get weighted down in the rain. It waves nicely in the wind and does not get twisted around the pole. My neighbors’ all have theirs twisted around their poles right now looking soggy and wet while mine looks dry and waves in the wind so it turns out there is a benefit to the cheap material.

I bought this last July, so with almost a year of use, here are my thoughts:Pros:- Attractive (at least initially)Cons:- Not "tangle-free." The swivels are reasonably slippery and loose, and I had hope for it being better than previous flag poles, but the top swivel regularly gets bound up or doesn't stay in sync with the bottom, and the flag gets wrapped around the pole. Not sure what could be done to prevent what you see in the photo, but I have to manually unravel it pretty frequently.- The joints in the pole where the pieces are screwed together are showing rust (See photos). It would be much nicer if better materials and a better paint process had been used to prevent rust.- One of the small carabiners that attaches the flag to the pole broke within the last few months . Luckily, I had one of identical size on hand that I was able to replace it with, but I wouldn't consider these parts heavy duty. Granted, I leave my flag out 24x7 and I don't take it down for heavy wind/rain storms, but be aware that these might fail in time.I think that these issues are pretty typical of similar items at the price point, but I'd love it the rust issue and especially the tangle issue were solved. I like this flag pole better than previous ones I've owned, but it could be just a bit better.

I've had to buy a few flags over the years one of the reasons is because when the wind comes they tend to wrap around the pole so you're constantly having to unwrap the flag which is not only annoying but it takes a toll on the flag I really like the way this one happened to work out with my existing hardware near my Eves. So the bottom line is that this one is just hanging straight down in a vertical position I know that some flag lovers might object to that that it's supposed to be more upright but I can tell you from years of experience that I'm going to keep it in this position it's going to save me a lot of time and some frustration and not constantly having to unravel the flag. The quality of this flag seems very good I think I will have it for some time before I have to replace it.

The pole is really sturdy and the length I wanted. Only issue is the flag does wrap around the pole. Top clamp does not swivel.

Originally I thought this was a great flag pole. Very attractive. I put it up 5 & 1/2 months ago and it was great. The top 'spinner' didn't keep the flag from tangling , but, oh well. If only they hadn't used plasticbrackets to attach the clips to. Went out this morning and the top one had snapped. Now the pole is totally useless. I'm going to purchase a new one, but don't think it will be from this company.
