I bought this drum fan because DeWalt used to be synonymous with quality. This fan quit working after five weeks; it was only used on our back patio in the evenings. I’m still having problems getting resolution with the seller.

The media could not be loaded.  Very nice design with a bright color scheme! It's best for air circulation, drying purpose in a painting room for example. It circulates air very efficiently because of the huge CFM. Some people complain this fan isn't moving much air in a outdoor situation, well it's simply because the design is not for that. If you know the basics of air dynamic you'll know this.

I purchased several of these fans to help with air circulation in tight areas of a warehouse facility. When the fans work, they do a good job. However, of the 5 fans I purchased, all five have needed their control boards replaced within two months of occasional use.The process to get replacement control boards is tedious and long since Dewalt outsources its repair and service calls to third party vendors. These vendors have all been very nice and helpful.For $200, I would hope that these fans would have better durability. Do not purchase if you do not have basic experience replacing electrical control components.

I loved everything about this and may want another!

This fan saved me a lot of money this past summer. Didn't have to use the AC. The fan kept the air moving in my house and kept me cool. Love this fan.

It worked for an hour and then stopped working. Maybe an internal or plug fuse issue?

I read this might be common problem and thought it would be ok. Even though defective, have to pay for return shipping. Will just buy something local to replace. Disappointing.
