Creativity for Kids Rock Painting Kit - Hide and Seek Rock Kit, Arts and Crafts for Kids, Gifts for Kids (Ages 6+)

This is awesome even for adults!!!! I got this as a Christmas gift for my 5 year old son and he of course loved it we did it together. I came up with the idea that we could paint the rocks and then leave them at the local parks when the weather warms up for other people to find. He thought that was really cool and really enjoyed painting the rocks with me! But I also found that it was very therapeutic and after he went to bed I found myself doing it by myself! I enjoyed it and I think I will be purchasing another because it is so therapeutic! I think I found a new hobby!😂 Also the paint is very thick and it dries very quickly my husband said that he read on the instructions that the pain actually hardens over time. This paint works very well with rocks. I tried a crayola paint and that did not work. We were able to get the gold stencil tattoo things to work on the rocks but not the black ones. But I think I got it for $10 on sale so it was definitely worth the money!

Kids love painting rocks. I have my granddaughters paint some, and we go for a walk in the park. We leave one by the side of the path every once in a while. They love seeing that someone enjoyed them so much that they took one home. We try to imagine who might have gotten it.

I bought this for some girls in our home bible study. They needed some good quality projects to draw on. It’s inexpensive and easy for a 6 year old too. They used their creativity in design as well

We live in the Arizona desert and our neighborhood has an ongoing rock snake. My grandaughter and I love painting these rocks and contributing to the rock snake. Super cute!

I bought this kit to use with my niece for our first rock painting. It came with rocks, paints, two paint brushes, several "stickers" and a sponge. I didn't really read what I purchased so I was surprised to see that the stickers needed to be applied with the sponge and water. It was very easy to do, but we had to either let our paint dry and then apply or apply then let the rock dry to paint. It wasn't an issue for us as we just set those aside and started another rock.The rocks varied in look and size. One rock was very ugly and we didn't use it because it was pitted and didn't take paint well. We had purchased other rocks to go with this so again, it was not a big deal for us. I do wish there were more paint brushes! We had to continue to wash them to not mix colors. Overall, this was a great starter kit and now we know what else we want to get to try again!

My grandson spent hours painting the supplied rocks! A great present for a five year old.

This is a seriously great little craft kit. I was actually surprised how many rocks we were able to paint with the small pots of paint, they don’t look like much but have great coverage.The only things I would change are very minor:1. I wish it came with a few more gold tattoos — there are only 4 included and they look especially cool on the rocks.2. I wish it would have come with a fine tip permanent marker included, if you want to draw your own lines or mark the back you’ll have to have your own marker.I would also add, it doesn’t come with as many rocks as I would like, but that’s totally understand given the cost to ship rocks.If you have access to extra rocks to paint this kit really goes a long way! The photo included is only about half the rocks we made and there are still plenty of supplies left to make even more!Also, keep the box if you need inspiration for what to paint!
