Awesome Burner
My old burner would blow out frequently as it is a more coned shaped Burner style. It has been put on the shelf for a summer garage sale. This new burner is sturdy, heavy, and burns way more evenly with the larger, more round burner. The stainless braided gas line is super beefy and I expect it to hold up for years. I'm using mine for deep fried turkey but also use it to fry lobster, shrimp, chicken, and various veggies. It's so easy to dial in a consistent temp without having to babysit the flame control. I love this thing and plan to use it often.

This Thing Is A Beast - In A Good Way
Good transaction via Amazon. On-time delivery. Got it for my large campfire skillet to do fish fries. More uniform results than relying on fire coals and flames. Only had to connect the flexible hose and it was ready to go. Fired right up. Beautiful distribution of small blue flames over a large area. Easy to regulate flame height and heat output. With such a big burner and lots of small flames it gets things heated very quickly without wasting propane. 25 pounds, so very stable on a decent surface. Highly recommended.

Beautiful
I haven’t used it, but I did take it out to take a look at it. I have to say it’s such a heavy duty, propane stove.

Massive heat distribution but no real temp control
This is a great and relatively inexpensive outdoor stove given the BTU it produces, and is perfect for cooking that prefers high heat and short timing such as stir fry. Frame is sturdy and size is good, although a 30" standard counter height would have been perfect even with higher costs. It has to be put on either a table or stand in order to get to the counter height. But this is not a ding on the rating since the dimensions are clearly described in the product page. The 1-star downgrade is because there is no real temperature control (knob) on the stove. Yes - the air intake opening dial controls the air/gas mixture and thus controls the type of flame (yellow vs blue), but I don't consider it a real temperature control since I don't see anyone would purposely select a yellow flame instead of a blue flame, hence it's more like a fine tuning feature to me rather than a temperature control. As such, the ONLY way to control the temperature (high/low flame) is thru the regulator which of course, is at the tank below the cooking unit - doable but not the most convenient method.

Built like a tank!
Great burner. Easy to adjust fuel mix so burns really clean. This thing is well built and solid. Nice and sturdy. Just wish it was a little bit taller..just a bit so didnt have to bend so far down but other that height no real complaints. Highly recommend this burner..little pricey bit worth the little extra.

Finally a burner that does what I need it to do
I've been frying turkey for almost two decades. Most burners sold for frying turkey do not have enough BTUs to do the job right. This burner allowed me maintain consistent temperature before, during, and after cooking. Be careful it can get the oil too hot quickly. Don't be standing around drinking. This is a serious burner that requires your full attention.I would buy this again.

Crawfish Cooker
I purchased this unit to use as a Crawfish/Seafood Cooker. I received it today and I immediately hooked it up. I use an 80 quart pot for my crawfish boils. It easily accommodates my 80 quart pot and it would easily accommodate a 100 quart pot. Very sturdy. I put 14 gallons of water in my pot which is what I normally put in the pot for one 35 to 40 pound sack of crawfish with fixin's. I put a thermometer probe in the water and made sure it was way off the bottom and set my Thermoworks Smoke to 212 degrees. I put a cover on the pot and fired it up! The 411: 14 gallons of water came to a rolling boil in 30 minutes flat. I ran it wide open. The regulator did not ice over or freeze. I didn't have a sack of crawfish to add to determine how quick it would come back to a boil. They're not in season right now. Yes, it smells of burning paint when you use it the first time but that's with all propane cookers. I suggest lighting it and burning the paint off before you cook with it. The outside temp was 48 degrees with a significant 10 - 15 knot wind from the south. As you may already know, the wind can greatly affect the performance of a propane cooker. The conditions today were not ideal but I felt like the cooker performed very well. It easily saved 20 minutes off of my boil time that I had with my low pressure cooker. Don't be tempted to purchase "Jet Burner" cookers. All they do is make a lot of noise, use a S#$T load of propane and perform poorly. I am looking forward to Crawfish Season!
