Eddie Bauer - King Comforter Set, Cotton Reversible Bedding, Buffalo Plaid Home Decor for All Seasons (Red/Black, King)

I have purchased this set 4 times because they were quality comforters made 100% cotton light weight and very comfortable, one for myself and for gifts, however the last one I received is not the same material as the first 3 it does not have the crisp feel of cotton and it has a sheen to it, seems to be a blend. I am quite bummed as I just opened now with the cool weather and now too late to return. Very Disappointed in the last set I received to say the least. Very bummed. I will have to start another search as I am not happy with the new material.

Very warm and comfortable. Definitely has some weight to it, so perfect for cold winter nights. Matches the Eddie Bauer sheets and pillows perfectly!

I received this comforter ahead of schedule, it's made well & beautiful, not soft, but then it's not made of a soft fabric, but a durable one, which is what I anticipated. Nice weight for a year round comforter. Very happy with my purchase.

I believe I was expecting a softer feel. I don’t think it’s really what I was looking for. I put it in the guest room though so I’ll let it sit for a few days so I can think it over and decide if I should return it or not.

Pretty, but not soft, even after washing. Red color did not bleed and the item did not shrink. Fits my King comforter just fine.

This comforter is super soft and super warm. And very cute. But the fabric is very thin and I had three tears in the top within the first week just from the dog jumping up on the bed. It is also quilted very poorly and when I washed it, all the batting wadded up inside. It doesn’t feel like the quality I expect from EB. I put iron-on patches on the tears and am hoping for the best.

For this price, you can buy a much softer and pleasant sleeping experience. This is the itchiest, scratchiest duvet cover I have ever bought. Do not recommend. If you like soft, cuddly blankets, this one is not for you.

I have an American bed and an American duvet so when I saw this I thought PERFECT it will fit nicely as some European duvet covers are just a little 2 small for my duvet. This one on the other hand is swimming and hangs down well over the duvet and just doesnt look right. Plus when i took it out of the package I washed it as it was stiff but after washing and drying it is still hard and my daughter doesnt like it at all, so it was a waste of money.

This was so much better than expected I thought I was getting a duvet cover so was over the moon when I got it. It is fab!!

Very cheap stuff. I can’t believe Eddie Bauer would put their name on such a bad off shore product. The fabric feels like plastic. I would have thought it would have been better for the money. And the worst part. There is no way to hold the duvet in the corners after a wash. Big pain. How hard would it be to add a pair of ties in each corner. You could buy better sheets at any big box store for a fifth of the price.

I was looking for a nice, buffalo-print comforter, and this is perfect. It's warm and fits well on my double bed (is quite big - could fit a larger bed). My only comment is that it shrank a fair bit the first time I washed it and hung it to dry, because the cover is cotton. But, that's to be expected. With black sheets, this set looks very sharp, and I love the matching pillow shams. I've had it for almost 2 years, and it's worn very well (no seams unraveling, or severe fading).
