HountWomen's Lightweight Hooded Raincoat Waterproof Packable Active Outdoor Rain Jacket (S-3XL)

This product ran small and was not water resistant at all. I may have expected to much, but during my back packing trip we hiked through the rain for +6 hours and by the end of hour one... I was drenched. The water had seeped through the fabric on the arms, hood and chest.. drenching my hair and making the fabric stick to my arms. My clothes underneath began to take on water as well making it colder and harder to retain heat. When we stopped for a break, I had to wring out the jacket and my shirt underneath before putting on a dry one and having to reapply the jacket. I would not recommend for prolonged weather or any weather really beyond 30-45 minutes of exposure.

I ordered this jacket because it fits in a small pouch. It’s a beautiful jacket and well constructed but the size is on the smaller side. I would go up a size especially if you plan on layering.

I bought this jacket for a trip to Amsterdam, where I understand that it rains frequently. I had good weather for most of the trip, but there was one day when I was scheduled for some sightseeing and an open boat canal tour. It wasn't raining when I left my hotel, but the skies opened up shortly before my canal tour. Luckily, I had this lightweight, easy to carry jacket with me, and was able to keep my upper body and head dry. When it stopped raining, the jacket dried quickly and was easy to pack back into its pouch. I'm glad I had it--much easier for a trip like that than juggling an umbrella.

Its light weight. But its warm! Water resistant, have used it for travel. I LOVE the pockets! Very deep pockets, flap keeping pocket secure.

I bought this windbreaker to wea to Kauaii . I love the color that I selected and it worked well for my needs. I get hot easily and I felt very comfortable wearing this windbreaker it is well made. I bought the biggest size that it came in because I am a big boned 5' 10 woman it was just a little tight for me I weigh 200 pounds so if you're a big boned big busted woman might myself it was a little tight with the 3XI usually wear an extra large to A1X jacket so it ran small for me but I really love it so I just wore it a little tight because it looked good with my outfits that I wore to Hawaii and it kept me from getting wet I just didn't have a lot of Room under the arm pit area it's zipped up fine but I'm big busted and that was my problem and I have large shoulders otherwise for the normal size woman should work great for you.

I read the reviews and was a little concerned about staying dry. Not sure what happened with the others but this lightweight raincoat kept me dry while traveling in rainy Seattle.I wore it everyday since it was also a bit chilly. On another note, while visiting the coast I was at the beach and a wave crashed over me and took me under. Luckily I was able to get up quickly. My clothes were drenched but I took off this raincoat and parts of my shirt were still dry! So definitely 5 stars for keep me dry.I did notice some of the color rubbed off when it got wet onto the car seat. So probably needs to be washed first.

Seemed kind of cheaply made, not a fan of the strings at the bottom, but it does do what it’s supposed to do. Light weight which is good, comes in a handy little bag for when your not using it. Overall I’m satisfied with this jacket.

This rain jacket is very attractive and comfortable. It is not totally water proof, but it is water repellent . I especially like the bag to carry it in. It fits into my purse and is always with me and ready for a rainy day.
